Did you try contacting them through YouTube to see if they’d change their name?

It's best to contact the name owner via social media (if there's one) and ask them to do the changes. If the name owner doesn't bind it's social media, then you can contact the mods for further action(?)

I'm pretty sure that site staff has said they won't remove an account that has runs, even if it's been inactive for a long time. Granted, that might have changed, but that used to be the case.

The requirements for taking a username didn't change: Inactive for 6 months and 0 submitted runs.

They don't seem to have much in terms of social media... i've tried to email them nonetheless from the gmail on their youtube channel so we will have to see I guess
