Can someone explain to me what Gen Skip is? I assume it's generator skip in the Daycare, but you don't skip the generators, you just skip getting the flashlight.

I assume youre talking about the one me, skkeye, and nuke found where you jump out of the daycare on the play structures, and skip the night trigger with the palm tree. you dont get the flashlight, or the ability to call freddy. So its only useful for map% inbounds and even then weve found a better strat for that.

Gen skip is skipping the damaged chica generators meaning you only turn one of them on and leave the other two. It is banned in NMS runs.
