So when the game first released there was a money glitch that gave you unlimited money. I don't know if this would be allowed in the Career Mode speedrun or not but here it is: NOTE: You must delete the cache for the game to remove any updates and then go from there.
Perhaps a Glitchless and Glitch category should be made? I suspect the glitch-friendly category would be far more popular for time/sanity's sake.
Very similar to Forza Horizon 2's money glitch on 360 - We can certainly look into making a Glitchless category to separate it.
