After completing a flow free pack and submitting it, the moderators use "RTA" timing which stands for "Real-Time Attack." Because of this, all loading, ads, and even differences in switching levels can affect your time. By clicking the next level button, you lose almost 1 second per level which adds up: ~2 to 2.5 minutes lost in an entire run. That's a LOT of time. So how do you quickly switch to the next level?

Flow free has a quick level switching mechanic that is triggered when you immediately tap in the top half of the screen right after finishing a level. Sometimes, this feature does not work on the first level. To be safe, I tend to click the next level button at the bottom when this happens. Finally, to ensure that the level switching has taken place, flow free indicates that a level is perfect by displaying a "star" icon and indicated that a level was completed imperfectly (more moves than flows) by displaying a "checkmark" icon.
