is there a good way of reducing loading times with espx emulator? I'm adding up my course times, and currently that would put me about 27 secs behind the WR runs times, but my total time is about 2 minutes 40 secs longer

I don't know about this, I remember having approximately the same loading screens times with my old PS1 including the weird blinking green loading bar.
