Here's some guides that I created where all of the Codes in the game in all chapters throughout the game.

Gestion of Films Playstation version

Start with the Blue Film, you can one shot the 1rst form of the Editor with a full charge zero shot.
Before fighting his 2nd form, change the film for the green one (with the upgrade). After that, if you collect all the green films and the two pack of red films on the rooting, you should be good until the end, if you're don't spam too much or if you miss too many shots.

if you're want to save 6 free green film, you can switch for the blue film after the first fight with long arms. You have 6 photos to take for the enigma, until the beginning of the fight with the crawling girl, in the doll piece. Re-change film in the beginning of this fight.
You can save 4 photos too in the night 3, when you take pictures of the marks before to fight the 4 priests.

Concerning the 24 red film you can have, it's up to you to use them at the ideal time. Ideally you can fight until 4 ghosts with the 24 red films, but it can change of course.
 Personally, i use the red films for the Folklorist for the two fights, and for the rest, i still make tests. For the Master, or for two of the priests seems good.

P.S : actually on my rooting i found a new pack of green film night 1, at the piece of the lake with the lantern to light. After you do that, just go for the corner of the hut, and continue the rooting. It's a time loss of only 10 sec, for 12 green film, for me it's more confortable to have this pack, you can spam more the ghosts during the run.

P.S 2 : you can have an extra shot of red film in the 1rst night, in the little room you taking photo of the seductress. Climb the ladder and it's just at the right. But you lost 30sec to make that, because climb and go down to the ladder take so much time :/ . But it's could be good for make some extra ghosts easier/faster, and you're completely sure you have enough film until the end.

How works the Quick shots

It's a hard trick to explain, but i will try. Keep in mind we don't know exactly how it's works sometimes, why sometimes it's possible and sometimes not. But we've done some progress on it.

We know the ghosts have differents "status" or "patterns" : moving pattern, (or do nothing), and attack pattern.
A lot of ghosts in this game have a not RNG attitude : when we're too close from the ghosts, they attack you instantly (nearly all of the ghosts of this game). Of course they can decide to attack you without it too.

The point is : when you take a photo, the ghost is like "frozen" a couple of seconds. And when you take the photo in mid distance, if just after that, you move from the ghost, for having the pattern of attack, your camera is able to shot the ghosts instantly without waiting, during all the time the ghost is frozen. You can full charge 2 or 3 photos, or maybe spam and make until 5 photos maybe. Could be usefull if you're aim the head (+20 damage each photo).

It's an easy trick to do with the crawling girl and long arms. But particullary difficult to do with Ryozo, the Master, Yae, or the Assistant. It's seems they have different pattern of moving, and only some patterns can activate the glitch. It's only a supposition.
And finally it's not possible to activate the glitch on Kirie, but it's seems to be working for all of the other ghosts.

Little thing to do for emulator users

First, you can use emulator, it's fine, the default time is the IGT, like this, we can use PS2, PS3, emu, or wathever, it's always legit, even if the RTA is not exactly the same between the platforms.

You can use the emlator PCSX2, it's a good one.
You have one thing to do on the emu for playing the game without bugs (ghosts don't appear, and a door in the beginning refuse to trigger if i remember) :
You have to go to "Configuration", then "video", then "settings  of plugin", and then, you have to change the part called Renderer to "Direct3D11 (Software)", and not hardware.
And that's it, you can play to the game :) . If you using a PAL copy, be sure you're running in 60Hz (there is an option for it in the menu) if you want to speedrun the game, the 50Hz is slower and not valid.

Quick Steps

So, I think I've figured out how to go up most if not all sets of steps in the game quicker than the normal steps animation. Steps are the small sets of about 3-5 stairs like outside in the cherry atrium, all the stairs in the Banned Path, or when you exit the Fishtank Room out to the Backyard. If you interact with the steps at an angle instead of head-on, you move at regular running speed and don't hesitate when engaging the steps animation like normal. This probably saves around .3 seconds each time, but with the number of steps you encounter throughout the run, this could save anywhere from 1 to maybe 3 or 4 seconds over the run.

I still need to test this on actual stairs and such but cool find I guess.

Upgrades Playstation version

Before starting the 2nd fight of Editor, take the green film, and upgrade the speed.
Upgrade the speed again after the assistant (Tomoe).
Then, upgrade the max speed after the RNG Kid in night two (who have a piece of the mirror).
And finally upgrade the max value (just one time, more is not useful and a handicap for Kirie in the end) before fighting the Folklorist (Ryozo).

With these landmarks, you should can have enough points for upgrade the camera in the perfect timing, even if sometimes, you can have bad luck, not enough points, but it's rare.
