We're introducing a new speedrun category: "All Peaceful Achievements". For now, this category will be added to the category extensions, with the possibility of moving it to the main leaderboards if community interest grows.

Background:

Recently, a Factorio update (2.0.45) now disables some achievements if some map settings (like pollution spread, enemy expansion, tree density, and starting area) are modified. This significantly impacted the traditional 100%/All Achievements category, causing it to become significantly harder and less approachable due to enforced settings.

In response, the 100% runner community discussed solutions. A widely supported proposal emerged: creating a new category called "All Peaceful Achievements", completing all achievements except those disabled by map settings. This resembles the original spirit and strategy of the old 100% runs.

1.1 100% runs remain unaffected. Pre-2.0.45 submissions from the 100% category have been moved to the new "All Peaceful Achievements" category.

We're excited to announce that the Factorio: Space Age DLC has been added to Speedrun.com.

A recent update to the rules requires some categories to include a linked replay with the submission.

Please ensure you read both game rules and the category rules so you understand the current requirements for your chosen category.

If you have any questions about any category and its requirements please don't hesitate to reach out to the mod team.

There will be no exceptions to the replay requirement beyond the time and date of this post.
