NRV (No Rig Videos) Is an alteration of game files to remove cutscenes. This breaks away from the mold of needing to stand around in elevators or as an example, in the flight control room when Kendra and Hammond spend a whole long minute talking to you.

This has been added into PC categories to make the runs more pleasant to do. However, this is STRICTLY available on PC. You are unable to mod the files for console vers, and therefore will not be able to run with NRV on Console.

To run with NRV, You must go to the 'Movies' folder in your local files for Dead Space's Installation, and delete the folder labeled 'en' inside. An example of the directory would be

C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Dead Space\movies\en

For Origin this would be:

C:\Program Files\Origin\Dead Space

Once you have done this, return to the game. Launch, and have fun! The intro will be extremely different so do not panic. It starts fading in from black and just a backgroundless 'Dead Space' titlecard.

Do not verify/repair the files as they will be replaced. When you want to return the files to normal, verify/repair the game.
