Hey everyone, I have a proposal I would like to make. With most of our runs being on emulator I would like to change the rules of the speedun for better conformity. I believe changing which emulators are allowed will help keep load times more even and keep which emulators we use easier to access. I would suggest our allowed emulators to be the same as crash bandicoots' (https://www.speedrun.com/crash/thread/5ga2x). While doing this runs not conforming would be taken down, including mine which was done on epsxe 2.0.5. I would also want to change the rules to start on the X input on start game, and end on when stitch lands on the truck at the end. Which has been the standard but never been in the rules. I believe this rule change will make the game more evenly balanced and easier to access.
I agree, not having any regulations like this causes nothing but anarchy and is very off putting to potential new runners.
