Hello Crab Champions Speedrunners,
We have received some feedback about the current state of run timing and how to handle IGT on the leaderboard. aouaa and I ultimately decided to change timing to reflect when the player actually touches the crown instead of when the boss is defeated. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. (Specifically to crab_go_brrrrrrrrr who would have a 1st place run invalidated as a result of this.) While we work on retiming past runs and updating rules, please end all future runs when the crown is touched.

In the last day or two new categories have been introduced including flawless%, Island 90%, and multiplayer hardcore runs. If anyone has suggestions for new categories feel free to comment on this post, create a new thread, or post it in the speedrunning discord server.
