Uppdaterad 4 years ago av Olii

Before you read:

This is the first guide I have written, so hopefully its alright. In order to make use of this guide, I expect that the reader will have played through the game casually at least once. This route is accurate to the 15/03/21 and will most likely change in the future. I will be making references to the current world record at the time, using timestamps for different strats used throughout the run. Here is a link to said run: The run timer starts on p1 start. Quite a few seconds can be saved by creating empty profiles in slots 1-8. This causes the game to not save throughout the run. Easy mode is used over normal mode, as it is faster. Finally, it is allowed to install the game onto your Xbox's hard drive in order to save time on loads, however this MUST be done on original hardware - no hard drive modification. With that out of the way, here is the guide:

Time Sweepers 1:

Tutorial: For all tutorials, mash the a button throughout. When the time control icons appear at the bottom of the screen, press start, then x to skip the tutorial. Usually this consists of waiting till all text boxes are over, and then pausing. However, on the fourth tutorial here (the melee one), there is a 2 frame window to pause just before the crate is circled. This is quite difficult to do, so it is up to you if you want to do it. It saves around 2 seconds if successful and will lose about 1 if you fail it.

Mission 1:

Run forward and grab 2 trash. Jump up the ramp and a text box will trigger. Defeat the two time monsters with 1 trash each and grab a pause from the first one. Make sure to use the pause before you walk into the pool (skipping a text box) and complete the puzzle in order to progress. After this, make sure to jump to the right of the barricade to skip a text box. Drop down to the left after going through the door, break 1 crate and grab a bomb. Next, turn around and go back through the door. Jump on the wall on your left and then up to the ledge at the top. Grab the two bombs and jump down to the left of the ramp. After the reactive triggers, use a pause and walk over to the barricade, but don't get too close. You can save a few seconds by blowing yourself up in order to end the pause early, however this can means you can only take 1 hit for 1/6th of your health in the next two levels, so most people dont do this. After shooting 3 bombs at the barricade after the timer runs out, go through the door in order to end the mission

Mission 2:

Run to the right towards the left hand side of the switch. When you get close to the switch (within activation range), start spamming the b button to activate the switch. If done successfully, this should overwrite 1 cutscene with another and skip a bunch of text boxes. Next grab the two bombs behind you and run through the door. Once the reactive triggers, choose pause and jump up the wall behind you. Once you get to the top of the wall, jump to the island on the other side of the lake, where the kerofish are. Here, two random kerofish will be assigned to giving batteries. Defeat the first 2 kerofish. If the kerofish on the right drops a box, leave it for when you leave. If the left kerofish drops a box, grab it and proceed into the building. Continue through the building, defeating kerofish until two boxes have dropped. If one of the batteries belongs to one of the kerofish in the pool, leave by going back over the bridge, using a pause before you go over the bridge. If not, leave by going back to the island where you jumped down, jumping up where the pool with the octaballoon is, and then doing a jump onto the bridge, using a pause if available. You will most likely take some damage here unless you use a pause, although it is possible to do this jump without taking damage. If you take damage here and also took damage from bombing on mission 1, you will die on sweepers 2, losing around 15 seconds. Leave the mission by walking to the helicopter.

Boss:

Pretty simple, run right, sweep bombs, and shoot the monster in the leg. After it falls, shoot a bomb at the green inner core. A text box will trigger. If the text box triggers before the bomb explodes, then you will deal half the bosses health in damage. When it stands up again, shoot the stone guardian in the leg again. After it falls down and is completely stationary, shoot it 1 more time in the green core for the kill.

End:

Run to the goal gate.

Tom Tom Gang 1:

Tutorial:

Same as sweepers 1 tutorial, however the 2 frame skip is on the third tutorial section for space controls. After finishing the tutorial run down the stairs and turn right, jumping into the mission 1 goal gate.

Mission 1:

After mashing a to get through the text boxes, proceed to the laser trap. Double jump over the first two lasers and run into the third in order to skip a text box. Make sure not grab the subspace dive or the guard will catch you. Run forward and use a slingshot to take out the guard, grabbing the key. Push the block forward a little (till your character has taken 4 steps on the ground), and run to the gate of the security HQ. Go in, open the safe and finish the mission.

Mission 2:

Leave the security HQ and run towards the block that you pushed forwards. Jump on top of the box and up onto the stairs near the door thats being patrolled by the guard. Go through the door and proceed through the mission until the text box where Robbie says to shoot out the lights. Instead of shooting out the lights, you can do a jump to skip a chunk of the mission out. This can be seen at 8:47 of the current world record. Hit the first laser of the laser trap and wait for the guard to spot you (this will manipulate the alarm to be on at the start of mission 4, causing you to skip multiple cutscenes). This can be done by wall crawling however it is much faster to simply jump along the ledge, holding your stick towards the wall when you land. Then, finish the mission.

Mission 3:

Begin by running up the ramp until you trigger some text boxes. After this, quickly throw a pause grenade to the left, and proceed through the mission as usual. Once the pause grenade ends, jump on top of the first box, and shoot the guard that's further from you of the two. Collect the key he drops and use it to open the locked door. Open the locked door, and complete the puzzle (right switch then left). Finish the mission by crawling through the hole.

Mission 4:

After some text boxes at the start of the mission, jump over the first guard and enter through the door on the left. Crawl through the laser trap and disable the trap with the switch. Then, open the chest by jumping then punching the side of it, skipping an animation. Grab the text and run straight forward from the door to the goal gate. You will most likely take 2 or 3 hits during this escape, 3 if you did the first 3 missions optimally. This should leave you with half your health for the next 2 tom tom missions.

VS Mode:

Firstly, this mission is the most RNG dependant mission in the game. You can easily lose a minute of time due to bad RNG on this mission, since you begin the mission without a weapon that cannot damage the enemies, and will need to pick up this weapon in the map.

Weapons:

1: BAZ-006. This weapon does 3 full bars of damage, and so will 1 shot the enemies in Tom Tom 1 and Tom Tom 2. It also comes with 4 shots when you pick it up, so provided you dont miss a shot, you will not need to find any additional ammo for this fight. The one main downside of the bazooka is that if you lock on with it, enemies will automatically attempt to dodge the shot, even if they are facing away from you; this can either be rectified by using first person mode to aim and shoot (technically optimal, but harder) or getting close enough, jumping once, and shooting, which makes them unlikely to dodge. The splash damage from the explosions can make this weapon amazing, especially for sniping at range, as the splash damage does the same amount of damage as a direct hit.

2: Winterfield. #2 is a tie between the winterfield and the g300 ray. The upside of the winterfield is that it can headshot and instakill anything on headshot. However, this is difficult to do fast in first person mode since the crosshair is not centred (should be a bit right and a bit up), so the easiest way to get headshots is to get close to the enemy, jump once whilst locking on and then shoot when you're above them. Getting too close will cause you to not lock on, so this may take some practice, and its also not 100% consistent. The downside of the winterfield is that it only has 6 ammo, so in the case of Tom Tom 1, you will either need to headshot at least 2 of the enemies, or find ammo, which can be slow if there isnt any in your path. A failed headshot will also result in long invincibility frames after bodyshotting; you will have to wait for these to end before shooting again.

2: G300 RAY. This weapon is unable to 1 shot enemies however has 10 ammo, meaning you will not need to collect any additional ammo in Tom Tom 1 VS Mode. It can 2 shot all enemies meaning you will have to wait for invincibility frames after shooting enemies. Shots also do not have any travel time, so enemies will not dodge (although lock-on can sometimes cause you to miss), although it doesnt have unlimited range, meaning it isnt the best for sniping at long distance.

4: Crossbow. This weapon is actually the best weapon in the game if you could ignore its one fatal flaw: it only has 1 shot (unless upgraded, which you wont do in the run). It will 1 shot any enemy and has very low travel time, meaning it is unlikely to miss (most of the time it misses is due to lock on). Unfortunately this weapon is #3 due to you having to grab 3 additional ammo for Tom Tom 1 VS mode, making it usually slower than the winterfield and g300 ray.

5: Void Trap. This space control is not a weapon, however is easily as good as one, and can be extremely fast. Its main issue is it has to be aimed, and quickly. It will 1-shot enemies, however it can only kill 1 enemy at a time (so will kill the 2nd enemy in its range only after the first one is gone). It also cannot kill sleeping enemies, which unfortunately your teammates will put enemies to sleep, so unfortunately can also lose you a lot of time if you take too long to aim your shots. You will collect 4 uses of it if you can find one, and only 2 are required to finish the level, so you should be able to miss 1-2 shots and still clear tom tom 1 vs mode pretty quickly.

6: PiG-38. This is the weapon you'll be using from Tom Tom 2 all the way till the end of the game. It can kill enemies in 3 hits, so you will need to collect ammo at least once. The first invincibility frame does not last long with this weapon, so it isnt much slower than using a winterfield or g300 ray. It has very low travel time so is hard to miss with.

7: Black Hole. This is very similar to the void trap, however will slowly drain the enemies health. It can kill sleeping enemies, however will take much longer than the void trap to kill. It also can fail to kill enemies sometimes, depending on when the enemy gets in the black holes range. Can be quite risky to use as it is inconsistent.

  1. SAM-440. This weapon can actually 1-shot enemies if the knockback hits them into a wall, however is extremely inconsistent and often unusable when locked on, as its homing is almost completely broken. This weapon is best used in first person mode, as it wont home. The bullet travel time is also extremely slow (tied slowest in the game), so you will need to take this into account when aiming and shooting moving enemies. You only get 4 ammo, so you will most likely need to find additional ammo if you don't knock enemies into walls on shooting.

9 Grand Slam. Melee weapon - 1 use only - will 1 shot an enemy. Only really useful for taking out the very last enemy, unless you see 2 of them.

10 Hammer. Melee weapon - 1 use only - will only 1 shot an enemy if the knockback hits it into a wall. Again not particularly useful. The long wide up animation can be skipped if you attack when falling (second half of the jump animation)

11 MaG-420 and TON16A. Avoid these weapons at all costs. They will 5 shot enemies, so are much weaker than the PiG-38. Shots work the same as PiG-38, although the enemies will receive very long i-frames from the 2nd to 5th shots. The difference between the two weapons is that the MaG-420 can rapidfire for up to 6 shots, whereas the TON16A can only rapidfire 4, although rapidfiring on both weapons is completely pointless due to i-frames. You will need to collect additional ammo if using these.

12 Shotgun. This is the worst weapon you can find. It will also 5 shot enemies, and works similarly to the PiG-38. However, you must find 3 additional ammo to kill all enemies in tom tom 1 boss. Avoid at all costs.

Honerable Mention. Banana. This space control can also 1 shot enemies if they walk onto the path of the banana, however is extremely difficult to use quickly. Might be worth using over a machine gun or shotgun, although I havent tried too much as its pretty difficult to use well. Didnt really want to rank it with other weapons, as it can either be a waste of time, or a pretty mid tier weapon.

The level:

While mashing a to skip text boxes, make sure to watch the dropping weapons throughout the map. If you see a BAZ drop anywhere, it'll probably be worth B-lining to it before bothering to defeat the enemies. Once you spawn in, look to the right for any good weapons (baz, g300, winterfield). If you see these pick them up and kill the nearby time sweepers. Then proceed through the city, and take out the two other sweepers, ending the mission. If you dont see a good weapon, try going to the beach to attempt to find something good. If there is take out the enemies you spawned near first, and then go back to the beach to find the remaining two enemies (although sometimes 1 may get stuck inside the city). If there is nothing good on the beach have a look on the land on the other side of the beach and use anything there to take out the two nearby enemies. Finally go back to the beach to take out the two original enemies.

Time Sweepers 2:

Pre-mission:

Run right towards the shop. Begin the rank-up exam and skip the tutorials as usual. Exit the shop and run straight to the level.

Mission 1:

Begin the mission by running forward by running forward across the bridge and sweeping up the 3 pieces of trash on the left. Melee the first statue in front and shoot the one on the right. Jump over the ramp and shoot the octaballoon on the right, running to the left and breaking the crate with the bomb in it. Go back to the centre, collect the tyre, jump, and shoot the 2nd octaballoon. Hopefully one of them will launch rewind crystals straight to you. If they do stay still and jump so you don't need to collect the crystals manually. Use the trash to shoot the statue on the right, and use first person to shoot the 2 statues in the pit. If and only if you didn't get sent rewind crystals, jump into the pit and collect rewind crystals. Sweep up the bomb and snipe one of the statues from the end of the mission (see 14:35 on linked video). You should hear the sound of the statue breaking. If not, break the crate and repeat the shot until you hear the statue breaking. Use the rewind to damage boost up the ramp and hit the switch to continue. After the cutscene, run down the ramp, and before going through the door use a pause if you can. If so, defeat the speed monster, melee the statue (it will break as soon as the pause ends) and collect at least 1 trash. Press the button the proceed to the next room. If you didnt have a pause as you walked into the room, walk forward until you hear the pillar falling, then continue to the left of the pillar, and double jump over the falling 2nd pillar. Defeat the octaballoon and use its dropped pause to do what was described before. After pressing the button, run up the ramp and use the pause at the top of the ramp. Jump across the pillars, and use 2 melee attacks (wait a little between the two melees) to destroy the arrow trap. Finally, shoot the monster and sweep up some bombs. If the monster isnt spawned in, sweep up some bombs then a piece of trash, shooting the monster as soon as it spawns in. Collect the dropped time crystals and run towards the bridge, until you see bombs fall down. Use a rewind just before the bombs hit the bridge to skip a text box. Finally, press the button on the bridge and jump up to where the door is, collecting the coins. Melee attack the first statue, and use first person to snipe the two statues on your right. After firing the shots, jump onto the fan in front of you. A cutscene should play after you take 1 hit, and you'll be able to walk on the fans damage hitbox without taking damage. Complete the mission by running through the final door.

Mission 2:

At the start of the mission, use a slow on the reactive after mashing through some text boxes. Collect 3 rewind crystals and use a rewind as soon as possible. Activate the switch. Climb up the blocks, and sweep the two pieces of trash at the top of the ramp. When you get to the moving wall, wait for the wall to be fully out and double jump, landing as the wall is going back in. Jump on top of the moving wall, and then double jump over the arrow trap (you'll take 1/6 of your health damage if you fail). In the next room, defeat the octaballoon and sweep up the two tyres and the time controls it drops. Use its slow in order to complete the puzzle and defeat the speed monsters. Try to sweep up all the crystals dropped by the speed monsters, and proceed to the door. Once the door opens. Double jump across the gap, staying at the very front of the platform. Wait till the moving wall is either going in, or is going out, and then move forward to trigger the reactive. Sweep up 5 cluster missiles and jump up the ramp. Once the reactive ends, you should see two sets of text boxes, the 2nd saying to jump over the wall. If you dont make sure to stand near the door on your right. After these, defeat the octaballoon and grab a fast forward. Use the bounce pad to get to the highest block that is near the wall. Use a double jump to jump onto the wall without a fast forward, and another double jump to hit the switch. Finally jump back onto the wall, and use a fast forward on it to jump to the switch at the highest point. After pressing this switch, move forward, and as soon as you land move forward and double jump. If you still have your fast forward you should be able to avoid hitting the floor in front of the moving blocks, skipping a cutscene, landing straight in the goal gate. If you fail this run forward, making sure not to grab the medal, and jump down to the goal gate.

Boss:

This boss is quite easy to lose a lot of time to. Each additional cycle will cost you around 40 seconds, so it is most optimal to defeat the boss in the minimum 3 cycles. After 5 seconds has passed, the boss will shoot you with some trash. Dodge the shot and sweep the trash. When the boss shoots you next, shoot it at the same time it shoots you to cause some rewinds to drop. Note that as soon as you collect the rewind time control, the boss will do a shockwave attack that clears the arena of time controls. You want to collect 2 rewind crystals, and then attempt to grab 4 crystals afterwards in order to collect 2 rewind time controls. Doing this on the first or 2nd collection phase will allow you to skip collecting on the third phase. Use a rewind and run to the centre and use a melee attack to defeat the minions that the boss spawns (I like to call these onions). The onions can drop time controls which will make the fight a lot easier, especially the third phase. Once you have dealt a certain amount of damage, the boss will reform itself. Rinse and repeat this process until you have killed all the onions (this can only be done in a minimum of 3 cycles).

Run to the goal gate, remembering to mash a to skip all cutscenes

Tom Tom Gang 2:

Pre-mission:

Run straight forward down to the shop, and trigger the rank-up exam, remembering to skip all tutorials. Next, run to the right and jump into the #2 portal to begin the mission

Mission 1:

Begin by running to the left, towards the hole in the wall. Crawl through the hole, and run straight forward, using your pistol to take out the guard sweeper. Push the switch on the wall in order to clear the path. Proceed through the level. If you are on very low health you can break the crate after the checkpoint for some safety health, however you can just grab health in the VS mode, as it will most likely be more in your way. Continue through the holes, and use the same technique as you used in Tom Tom Gang 1-2 to jump across the wall crawl. Push the statue on the right as far as it will go, and then push the second statue to the light in order to complete the puzzle, giving some treasure. Bring this treasure to the corner of the platform where the two bronze coins are, and place it down. Stand on the treasure bag and use a double jump to get to the platform above. Then press the switch on the wall to unlock a staircase up. Pick up the treasure bag and climb up the stairs, making sure you see a text box for 'those switches return to their original position'. If you dont stand on the bottom stair for a few frames and it should trigger. Walk past the spike trap, making sure not to take damage and place the treasure bag on the seal (switch) to finish the mission

Mission 2:

Run forward to where the gold coins are, and go into the room on the right. Complete the light puzzle as fast as you can, and after running out the room move straight forward to fall down. Press the wall switch to the left, and jump down to where the treasure is. Collect the treasure to finish the mission. The guards should not spot you.

Mission 3:

Move forward and place the treasure bag on the platform with the x on it. Jump up to where the wall switch is and activate it. The treasure bag should move up a level. Pick up the treasure bag and walk round to the next platform with an x. Place it down here and jump back to the wall switches. After pressing the wall switch, jump up to where the bag is, and move past the spike trap. Drop off the right side of the platform, and follow the arrows on the floor to escape the mission.

VS Mode:

What I said about weapons for Tom Tom 1-Boss is still valid, however if you cant find a weapon above the PiG-38, don't use it. If you are low on health you should quite easily be able to find some here, although there arent many opportunities to take damage in tom tom 3 (and you buy health before tom tom 4). There is some flexibility to how you do this boss fight. I like to do it by moving left at the start, and taking out the guard sweeper at the very left hand side of the map. I then take out the enemies in the centre of the map, and finally the guard at the other side of the map. You can save a lot of time by sniping enemies in first person in this VS mode.

Tom Tom Gang 3:

Pre-Mission:

Rank up exam, then jump into the #3 portal

Mission 1:

One of the toughest missions in the game. Start the mission by jumping up the blocks to the right, making sure to stick to the right and not looking at the cannon, constantly jumping so the cannon text box doesnt trigger. Jump onto the pole and climb up it, making sure not to collect the medal at the top. Move towards the edge of the platform, and double jump towards the plank of the ship. You want to do your double jump as late as you possibly can without plummeting. (31:59) This jump can be quite tight so if you find yourself missing it a lot you can simply proceed through the mission using the normal route, as it only saves around 20 seconds. Once you get onto the plank, jump around the iceberg on the right and activate the cannon. Proceed through the mission as usual.

Flamethrower Route:

There are two routes through this mission from here. This one is about 5 seconds slower however is quite a bit easier as it skips two tight roping sections. From the checkpoint, climb the stairs and shoot the two skeleton monsters once each. You want to jump on top of the rope, and jump across to the platform with the crate containing the pause grenade. Use the pause grenade straight away and use first person to shoot the closest pause sphere. You should see a bomb hit an ice block. Jump down to where the ice block was, break the crate, and pick up the flamethrower. Jump across the ice platforms to the room with the wooden floor. Climb up the pole and melt the ice block using the flamethrower next to the top of the pole. Throw down a pause grenade and use it to shoot the last pause sphere in the mission, freeing the tank. Finally, jump to the switch and activate it to end the mission. Don't worry about hitting the laser trap, it's basically harmless.

Standard route:

This route is faster, and is the one done on the linked video. It is about 5 seconds faster although is much harder. Climb the stairs and shoot the two skeletons. Jump on top of the rope and jump to the platform with the crate and collect the pause grenade. Jump back to the platform in the middle and then jump on top of the rope. Then walk (without jumping) to the island with the pause sphere. Drop down and quickly jump onto the pole. If you jump fast enough you should skip a batch of text boxes. After climbing the pole, jump on top of the rope and run to the end of the rope, making sure not to collect the medal. Break the crate and collect the warp tunnel. Use the warp tunnel to warp to the other side of the gap, and use the pause grenade, shoot the pause grenade to free the tank. Finish the mission

Mission 2:

Jump onto the pole and slide down it. Proceed through the mission as normal, although don't bother switching off the lights, and defeat the guard sweeper using your pistol. Jump over the wooden block and then jump onto the wooden block on the left. If you used the flamethrower route for mission 1, you will need to break the crate and take the warp tunnel here. Jump down to where the ammo is, and double jump into the laser trap room (jump before moving). This should allow you to skip a text box. Don't worry about hitting the laser trap; it only releases bombs and those are pretty easy to avoid. Jump and punch the chest to open it, and hit the switch in the corner of the room. Move back to the central area, throw down a warp tunnel onto the floor, go back into the room with the lasers, pick up the treasure, and activate the effect of the warp tunnel. Place the bag on the floor and take out the two guard sweepers. Move towards the second room with lasers, and make sure to double jump over the doorway (and a bit of the area in front of it) to skip a text box. (34:45) Doing this successfully will skip the mission 2 end screen, the mission 3 start screen, as well as a bunch of text boxes in mission 3. Don't worry about hitting the lasers; they again spawn bombs that are pretty easy to dodge. Jump and hit the treasure chest (which will end the mission if you failed the text box skip) and hit the lever to the left

Mission 3:

Grab the treasure and move to where you placed the first treasure bag. Place the treasure bag onto the other treasure bag to merge them. Next, throw a warp tunnel just outside the door that is now open, pick up the treasure bag, and activate the warp tunnel. Put the treasure bag down, and if you failed mission 2 skip, you will need to double jump over the floor near the doorway to skip a text box. Activate the switch and double jump over the text box trigger (if you failed m2 skip) again. If you didn't fail the skip, you can just walk to the lever and activate it. Pick up the bag and place it back down inside the lift. Activate the switch in the lift to activate it, and pick up the treasure bag. When the door opens, move forward to end the mission.

Boss:

Before the boss, there is a tutorial. Skip this as per usual. This boss is pretty simple, shoot its 4 heads and then its green core. At the start of the fight some pillars will fall to the floor. You want to break one pillar ASAP in order to skip a text box. Each pillar has a 25% chance of dropping ammo, a 25% chance of dropping 4 special ammo (2 in reality), a 25% chance of dropping a bomb, and a 25% of dropping nothing. If none of the pillars drop ammo or special ammo, you can only miss 1 shot in the entire fight. None of the bosses attacks can even harm you, except its AOE which it does if you get too close to it. At the start of the third phase it'll automatically do its AOE attack, so make sure to stay away from it then. Shoot the boss until it dies.

Time Sweepers 3:

Pre-Mission:

Move right towards the shop. Complete the rank-up exam, and then proceed to the 'buy' menu. Purchase the level 2 sweeper, a sweeper pack, a medium milk, and a miracle smoothie if you can afford it. It is very important to buy the level 2 sweeper here, as if you forget, you'll need to sell your level 1 sweeper at the start of sweepers 4 to get enough money to buy a new combo cartridge. Use Jimmys shortcut and equip the items in the locker room. Proceed to the level.

Mission 1:

Move down the stairs on the left, collecting the two fridges on the way down. Use them to defeat the skeleton monster, and move into the cave. After skipping the cutscene, move towards the lid, and use the fast forward to jump up to the platform on top of the starting area. Move towards the 2nd set of pirate lids, and walk on the four lids to open them. Once they are all open, you want to keep jumping until you are standing on top of the metal grate, that opens during a cutscene. If you spend too long on the ground without jumping, a cutscene will trigger. This can be seen at 40:30 on the linked video. Once the grate is broken, melee the cage that mick is in to save him.

Mission 2:

Jump across the ice platforms and go through the door to trigger a reactive. Use a pause and proceed to the first switch with a bomb and sweep up some trash. Once the reactive ends, a skeleton monster will spawn. Defeat the monster to obtain a fast forward. Use the fast forward to jump from the closest moving iceberg to a little lip on the platform at the end of the level. Then use a double jump to jump left and around the invisible wall in front of you. This trick may take some practice (timestamp 41:36 on video). If you dont want to go for this, you can do a slower, easier alternative strat: Complete the mission

VS Mode:

Your first priority in this VS mode is to grab 6 trash and a fast forward. Use the fast forward and rampage through the 6 enemies at the bottom of the map. Whilst you are doing so, try to grab another FF and 2 more trash. Use the 2nd FF to defeat the enemy in the passage to the right of the blue warp door, and snipe the last enemy in the centre of the map (remember that your cursor is to the bottom left of where it should be). All enemies will be 1 hit kill if you remembered to buy the level 2 sweeper.

Time Sweepers 4:

Pre-Mission:

Rank up exam and proceed to mission as usual. Buy lv2 sweeper + combo cartridge and sweeper pack if you forgot.

Mission 1:

This mission is one of the tricky ones again. Sweep up the two barrels, and jump across the gap. Walk onto the wooden gear and double jump onto the spinning wheel. If you did the trick succesfully you should be able to stand on the spinning wheel. The trick to this is doing the first jump as late as possible. (44:27) If this is too tough it is also possible to use the octaballoon to damage boost to the top of the spinning wheel. If you fail, mash a and retry checkpoint. After getting on top of the spinning wheel, move across the iron beams and jump down onto the iron beam on the right when you can. Jump onto the wheel on the 2nd platform to trigger a text box - this will skip a few text boxes later. Drop down to the bottom level and defeat the two octaballoons. Collect a pause from them and a record if they drop one, and use the pause to defeat the first time barrier monster. While the pause is still going, shoot the pause sphere connected to the wheels, and jump towards the handle. Once you get onto the 2nd level, defeat the octaballoon at the edge and grab a record from it. Use the record and melee the record monster once, jumping off the edge once this has been done, ending the record slightly earlier. Shoot the monster when it has been punched in the recording to defeat it. Grab the pause and fast forward from it. Use the pause + ff in time control combo and across the gap to the two remaining time barrier monsters. Sweep up the trash, shoot the time dragon and then shoot any time sphere in the distance to end the pause early. Use a new pause when possible, shoot the last monster, and shoot the closest time sphere to end the pause early again. Collect the ff dropped by the pause kerofish, and walk along to the end of the iron beam. Use the FF and jump across to the green button. Hold the green button until the door is about half open, and then run through the door. Jump across to the platform in front of the bridge to end the mission.

Mission 2:

Turn around and sweep behind you to grab a FF through the floor. Then, walk across the bridge. Use a pause for the reactive and sweep up some flaming arrows. Run to the end of the bridge and wait for the door to open. Complete the puzzle in the next room as normal. Once the door is open, use your fast forward and double jump to the left, across to a platform where some tom toms are. Ignore the tom toms and jump to the cogs across. Mesh the first cogwheel and defeat the octaballoon. Collect the pause + ff dropped by the octaballoon, and after meshing the 2nd cogwheel, run across the pinwheel to the iron beams in front. Jump off the iron beams onto another cogwheel to mesh it. Mesh the other cogwheel to your right, and then turn around and mesh the final cogwheel to the side. After the cutscene, use a pause + ff combo, jump on top of the currently stationary spinning wheel and double jump across to where the time dragon is. Run to the end of the mission, double jumping over the floor on the right once you get into the hangar, to skip a text box. Get into the helicopter and press a to finish the mission.

Boss:

Begin this boss by collecting the trash on your left. Defeat the octaballoon and two spikers, and collect their crystals for a pause. Use the pause, shoot the time sphere around Benito, and grab the two bombs. Collect a record before you get swallowed into his mouth, and make sure you have two bombs. Use the record before you hit the ground and shoot then green blob in his stomach. Once you get launched out, shoot him with your other bomb in order to damage him once. If you fail to damage him here you will have to do another cycle. Once the record replays, wait for your recording to hit Benito once, then use your 2 bombs to shoot him twice to defeat the boss.

Tom Tom Gang 4:

Pre-Mission:

Run to the shop, complete the rank-up exam as usual and purchase a bazooka, a large meat, and as many miracle smoothies as you can. Equip these in the locker room. Proceed to the round 4 portal.

Mission 1:

Move forward straight away - there are no cutscenes at the start of this mission. Move to the tom tom bike and mash a to get through text boxes as usual. Move right towards the wooden box, and drop off the island to the right of the box, using your double jump to get across the gap. Use this bottom area to move towards the blue button. Press the blue button, and wait for the alarm to go off for both guard sweepers before proceeding into the room. Press the blue switch in this room in order to open the way forward. You can also break the crate and collect the map inside on the way into this room to get a checkpoint. If you waited for the alarm to go off, then there should be no enemies inside the room with you. Proceed across the cogwheels as usual, and move left after getting to the platform on the other side of the cogwheels. You will want to get as close to the platform across the gap as you can, and then attempt to cross the gap on your left (see 52:50). After making this jump, break the crate to your right, and grab the pause grenade inside. Use 2 of these pause grenades to pause time, and push the cogwheel on the left forward to unmesh them. Climb up these cogwheels and jump on the platform to the left of the top. Jump down from here and proceed back to the tom tom bike

Mission 2:

Begin by moving right at the start of this mission. Throw a pause grenade into the windmill, and jump to across the gap to the platfrom with the crate to the right. (53:55) Break this crate and shoot the time dragon to defeat it. Flip the switch when the pause ends, shoot the turret and grab onto the first handle of the pinwheel that you can. This will give you a good cycle for the upcoming puzzle. Once you are on the 2nd floor, use your bazooka to shoot the two turrets at the top. Avoid landing on the bricked part of the circular platform where the switches are to skip a text box. If you got the fast cycle, you should be able to stop the slow cogwheel as soon as you get to the switches, and it'll be lined up. For the faster cogwheel, point your camera slightly down so you can see it move. Stop it once its in-line with the first cogwheel. Jump back over the bricked part of the circular platform, and proceed across the cogwheel bridge. Press the red button to clear the path. Double jump across the metal platforms towards the lever at the end of the mission. Flip this lever to finish the mission.

Mission 3:

Jump back down the metal platforms and drop down on the far side of the circular building (55:37). Hit the lever that you drop down next to, and use two pause grenades once the guard sweeper alarms go off. When time is paused, grab the treasure and finish the mission as usual.

VS Mode:

In this VS Mode, enemies have slightly more health than they did before. For this reason, I would argue that the g300 ray, winterfield, and potentially crossbow (if you can find ammo for it) are better than the bazooka, as the g300 ray will also 1 shot, but is less likely to miss, and the winterfield and crossbow can 1-shot. Pick up the pause grenade, and proceed across either bridge. Before engaging with the enemies, throw two pause grenades to freeze the enemies in place, so the first shot wont miss. Repeat for the 2nd set of enemies.

Time Sweepers Rescue:

If you are low on health (you probably wont be unless you couldn't afford health at the start of sweepers 3), break the first crate and drink the milk. Afterwards, break the 2nd crate and pick up the hammer contained. Remember that the hammer has no start-up animation if used when falling. Move to the left and open the first cage. Defeat the guarding tom tom enemy, either by hitting him once off the edge, or hitting him twice. Move to the right to hit the next cage, hitting it without landing on it. Move forward until you're in line with the pipe sticking out of the ground, and move right, jumping over the crates and opening the penultimate cage. Finally, move towards the last cage, and open it. If done right, you should not be spotted at all throughout the mission, other than by the first tom tom who you defeat

Tom Tom Infiltration:

Whilst spamming a to skip text boxes at the start of this mission, hold y to begin the mission crawling. Once you can control your character, keep crawling forward until the bottom laser is below the bottom of your bazooka on screen. Doing this will slow you down so the cycle of the guards means you dont get spotted. Jump up the right hand side of the platform in front of you, run forward, and jump into the cart. Press a once to skip the cutscene. Once you get control of your character, jump straight towards the ramp in front of you. If you do this correctly the guard sweeper should miss his shot. Climb up the ramp and crawl through the hole. Run to the end of this platform and jump straight to the next platform, avoiding the pole. Failing this will cause you to miss a crane cycle and will lose you around 45 seconds. Run forward, and jump across the gap to the next platform. Walk forward here (don't jump) to trigger a text box. Once the text box ends, you should be able to jump onto the block, just as it leaves. Finish the mission as normal.

Tom Tom Gang 5:

Pre-Mission:

Rank up exam and run to portal as usual

Mission 1&2:

At the start of this mission, you will need to do one of the hardest tricks in the run known as pipe skip (1:01:55). Start by running forward until you trigger a text box. Then jump on top of the crate to the right. Double jump forward and fire a shot on the wall on the right to damage boost across a gap. The timing of the 2nd double jump and the timing of the 2nd shot are both extremely important to this trick. The angle of the shot isnt too important. This trick is essential to the run as it essentially skips the entirety of mission 1. After jumping across this gap. Run through the laser trap towards the boulder. Shoot the boulder with your bazooka to break the wedge holding it in place, whilst you run towards it. Push the boulder forwards, and run down the ramp. Move left through the door once you get to the bottom of the ramp (do not move right now), and open all the valves as per usual for mission 2. All enemies will be despawned, so this should not be tricky to do. Be very careful not to die to hitting the lava here, as there are no checkpoints; you will need to do pipe skip again. Once you have opened all valves go back through the door that you went through where the start of mission 2 normally is. Hug the left wall and collect all 3 coins before moving towards the tank. Not doing this will cause your game to hard-lock. The mission 1 clear screen will play. Next, after the cutscenes, jump through the doorway, and then use your double jump to jump back through (1:04:24). This will cause a cutscene to trigger and will end mission 2.

Mission 3:

Jump up the ramp with the boulder and jump on the yellow railing. Then jump onto the platform to the left, and run to the goal gate.

Boss:

For this boss, you will automatically be given a hammer. Run to the platform to the left, and once the boss is on it, smash it with your hammer. If you do the fast hammer animation at any point in this fight, make sure to do it just before you hit the ground, otherwise you will be put in a falling animation. The boss will then spawn some minions. Break the floor again when it respawns, and then use your bazooka to damage some of the minions. Once you have done more than 1/4 of the bosses health, it will cause the minions to become invincible and send them back to the boss. However, due to bazooka splash damage, its quite easy to do a lot more than this much damage in each phase, especially as you get a little bit of time to damage the minions before they become invincible. Most of the time you will defeat the boss in 3 cycles, but a 2 cycle and even a 1 cycle is possible. Once the boss starts reforming, make sure to stand on one of the breakable platforms, and break it as soon as it lands. Rinse and repeat till the boss is defeated.

Time Sweepers 5:

Pre-Mission:

Rank up exam and proceed to level as usual

Mission 1:

Begin this mission by sweeping up the two trash on the right, and defeating the two spikers. Sweep up the record of the first spiker, use it, and run to the button on the left. Stay on the button till the record ends. When the record replays, grab the time crystals and hit the right switch. Proceed through the door and grab the fire extinguisher. After the text box, use the fire extinguisher to put out the first fire. Proceed through the door, being careful not to run too close to the oil valve to skip a text box. Go through the door and run across the first 2 conveyer belts, jumping across the edges of the next two onto the pipe in front and then to the next pipe. Drop down to the trash, and sweep them up. Defeat the two spikers. Move to the left and take a fire extinguisher. Use it to destroy the leftmost fire. Pick up the other fire extinguisher and use it to destroy the other fire. Make sure to grab a rewind here. Use the rotating column to proceed to the next area. Sweep up the trash and use your rewind to defeat the brute demon monster. Use the fire extinguisher next to the oil valve to put out the leftmost fire, and use the extinguisher behind that to put out the other fire. Make sure to collect a pause from the monster you defeated. Next, proceed to the next area, and use the pause to defeat the pause barrier skeleton monster, taking the ff it drops. Proceed as usual through the area where the fireballs roll, and pick up the fire extinguisher to the right here. Shoot the middle fire here to put out two fires, and then take the two fire extinguishers here to put out the third fire. Use a FF+Slow to jump across the two conveyor belts here, and once you get to the platform with the handle and button use two quick double jumps to jump over the reactive trigger. (1:09:30). Finally use the rest of your FF+slow time to jump to the end of the mission, putting out two of the last fires with your last extinguisher. If you miss a fire, you can crab one to your left here.

Mission 2:

Start by walking into the tram. Once the cutscene ends, grab the two trash to your right, run down the ramp, and defeat the two spikers. Take a FF and a slow and use a FF+Slow combo. Jump across the conveyor belt, to the island at the end of it and turn left. Run forward, and jump across the gap for a checkpoint. Use the moving platforms to jump onto the platform with the spinning fire. Jump around the spinning fire and onto the conveyor belt. Finally, jump across the gap to your left to the end of the mission. (1:12:10). Proceed forward to the rotating column, use the column and then exit to your left to end the mission.

Boss:

For this boss, break pillars until you have around 7 trash. Shoot the boss in order to get a rewind, use the rewind and then walk into the boss to end the rewind early. Shoot the boss 8 times in its second phase. You will need to collect two more trash during this.

Scissor Demon:

The final boss has 3 phases. For the first phase, drink a milk if you have less than half health at the start, and collect bombs and pause crystals whilst spawning in enemies by walking near their eggs. By facing the camera towards the enemies, they will not despawn. Use this to spawn in most enemies, then use a pause and rampage on them. If you can defeat at least 11, then the rest should automatically spawn after the pause ends. It is possible to do this phase in 1 cycle, however is quite hard to do without accidentally blowing yourself up, which will lose you a bunch of time as you will need to pause again. Once all 18 spikers are dead, you will enter phase 2. After phase 2 starts, you will want to collect the two big crystal fragments, then use a pause as fast as possible, shoot the boss, then shoot the two time monsters before they can absorb the fragment. Collect the fragment, then use another pause as soon as you can. Use this pause to shoot the boss, then shoot the two monsters. Collect this fragment to enter phase 3, where you can damage the boss. For phase 3, you will want to target the head first, then target the other 7 spots. Run ends after you fire the final shot
