Decided to emulate to give this game a gander and having audio issues. Sounds that should come from the right are coming from the left instead, and vice versa. I tested other games in Dolphin and BfBB is the only one having this issue. After googling I found only a couple reports of this problem that were either ignored or unsolved. There isn't an obvious fix I can see in the Dolphin/game settings.
this is an issue with the game's GameCube port itself, not an emulation issue, so they never 'fixed' it since it's actually being emulated completely accurately.
The 100 Under 1 challenge was a success! Thanks to all the runners who achieved sub hour in Battle for Bikini Bottom.
