Just curious, so it says that you can buy weapons from the armory mid-run, is there just no advantage to any of the weapons? All the runs I've watched don't purchase guns in the middle of the run.

Generally speaking, there are no real advantages to getting any of the weapons from the armory as bots can use them too. this means that although, theoretically, you can get faster times, it will be EVEN more luck based, as the bots can come out of no where and 2 shot you with a rocket launcher. I also think that its a bit of an unofficial rule to just not buy anything at this point.
