This is a basic Explaination on how the Speedrun works
IMPORTANT
Make sure to use the Save File that I posted in Resources
- What guns, abilitys and Cores to use?
We mainly want to use Corrupted Accelerator or Normal Battering Ram with either "Superior" or "Deadly" Modification. The reason why those 2 guns specifically is simple, they have the by far highest single target DPS and can make any Content trivial if you know what you are doing
For Abilitys I HIGHLY recommend using Scattershot turret due to not only it having a very high dps output but also having a quick kill strat for Mantis. The aftermentioned quick kill version for mantis is done by placing the Scattershot turret inside him as soon as he kneels down for his attack where the Lazer Turret spins in a Circle. if you have the right setup (like +15% damage if mid air or Breaker 2.0) you can kill him in a Single Turret Placement
As for cores, the by far best main core is Wind due to the high amount of Mobility that it gives you and general Freedom (not to mention that the buff it provides is also one of the best buffs in the game)
As for the Secondary core, I HIGHLY recommend Striker Core due to its natural synergy with Wind Core. Not only is it the by far best support cores simply because of it's Combat Buff that it provides like "Rapidfire" and "Haste", but to make it even better Majority of the Duo Boons it has with Windcore are insanely powerful tools to abuse.
Also For Requisiton and Suppression, Only leave Accelerator and Battering Ram, Ban every other gun and Requisit Accelerator and Scattershot Turret.
- What Mods to aim for?
Since both guns are 1 Clip guns they have some very wide Range Utility with absurd damage potential. You want to aim for "Last Shot" mods or just general damage enhancers like Crit Chance, Damage Increase depending on credit, ETC.
- Little Helpful Tips
Unless you feel weak ALWAYS Avoid Bonus Rooms or Objectives. Those are general time killers and NOT needed as long as your Gun is strong enough, Only take these as a Last Resort. Dont stress on Menu-ing too much like Picking buffs or Mods, as long as you are in a Menu the In Game Timer Pauses.
- What order to take in terms of Overlords or Towers.
Option 1. Overlord Order
I highly recommend going Mantis -> Magistrate -> Volt Reasoning behind this is simple, Mantis is more dangerous the higher level he gets so eliminating him immediately is the savest option. Magistrate can be a pain on 3 even with Wind core so eliminating her on 2 is the most Relaxing to me. Volt is the by far simplest boss and the boss that stays at 1 place the most so its fairly easy to just demolish him on 3.
Option 2. Tower Order
Not much to this, Tower 3 is the fastest with the least amount of Loot so its best taken as the Third tower, the first and second are a matter of Preference.
