Actually I double checked, Auto Run might actually save a very slight amount of time during the run?? Auto Run apparently doesn't work the same as just running, in any case
The only time loss from using Auto Run is from the time spent turning it on. You won't move any slower/faster than if you held shift/x during the entire run.
Doing emulator runs doesn't mess up anything on the boards, they don't even show up unless you select the option.

I've tried to figure out how Pirouette and Hypnosis work towards pacifying Jevil but couldn't find anything useful. What we know is that you can beat Jevil in 6 hyps and 6 pirs as in Cookiepocalypse's world record, but you can also do it in more/less hyps and pirs.
We know how to replicate this bug already: Have Susie downed by an attack, then on the turn she gets up, dont press anything until speech boxes go away. It's that simple so it has occurred to many people who have played this game.
Yes, you can mash the attack with Kris/Ralsei and still get True Pacifist ending.
The Japanese language setting is about 13 seconds faster than the English setting.
As far as I can tell, there are the exact same amount of textboxes in Japanese as in English, and you can mash through both equally fast.
The time difference comes from a few parts of the game:
- character creation (~1.25s)
- castle entry text (~3.5s)
- susie joins the party text (~0.75s)
- susie laughing at lancer (~0.75s)
- lancer joining the party (~0.5s)
- text during the susie vs lancer fight (~6s)
- "let's go back tomorrow" text (~0.75s)
All of these parts are slower because the text scrolls out at an automatic pace, and Japanese compresses text more.
There is no time saved in the English setting at any point in the game.

The time difference I recorded (13.466s) is not 100% accurate, but I tried my best to mash text and match my gameplay with Sakura's to the frame.
Yeah, there wouldn't be any difference in speed between Japanese and English. There are no dialogues that would be shorter if that's what you're thinking.
As far as I know, no one has figured out how to TAS Wii Sports Resort yet so you'd be out of luck.
