GermanyI noticed a small glitch during my playthrough. It can avoid any fall damage if used in time. It is also a small time saver in some places. (as in Pentagon 2, see video)
==> Press "Look" (square) while falling and you'll land on the ground with no damage.
The IGT is very useful for individual missions (as in e.g. "The Settlers 4"). It's good to compare. The game clock is the most accurate there. But real-time should definitely be used in a full campaign. For me it wouldn't be a problem if the rule was changed and "real-time" was used for everything in the future. A sub-category for "speed manipulation" would also be optional.

- The leaderboard is only for version 1.1 from 2014. I think both games are the same except for the graphics settings. But there could be different bugs / glitches. I'll make a new category so that both versions are possible.
- If you have runs, I'll be happy to verify them.

@23Banzaj The "Great campaigns" are 16 missions (4 for Romans, 4 for Vikings, 4 for Mayans, 4 for Trojans). Like all other missions, they are single player maps. When submitting a run I have to specify 4 players. This is not necessary here. Could you please change that so only one player needs to be specified? Many Thanks :)

@23Banzaj I'm really trying to make a run for all the missions. But the list still lacks "The Great Campaigns" ("Große Feldzüge" in german). These are the missions of the community-expansion. Could you maybe add the missions with 03-01 to 03-04 (for all 4 peoples) Hope it does not make any sense. Many many thanks!

Ja, das Problem ist mir auch schon durch den Kopf gegangen und bin zum Glück bisher verschont geblieben, vor allem bei meinen Full-Games. So wäre mein Vorschlag: Dann ist in den Missionen das Speichern erlaubt, der Spielstand darf aber nur geladen werden, wenn eine Fehlermeldung das Programm beendet. Dies muss zwingend bei der Video-Aufnahme festgehalten werden. Weiterhin würde die Ingame-Time zählen. Aber wie ist das (nur zum Vergleich) bei anderen Games? Wenn während einem Speedrun-Versuch das Spiel "crashed" oder "freezed", hat man da nicht einfach Pech gehabt und der Speedrun ist "verloren"?
EDIT: Hab gerade die Regeln bei Command&Conquer geschaut, ein vergleichbares Strategie-Spiel. Dort ist das Speichern/Laden innerhalb der Missionen sogar erlaubt. Das Laden muss aber direkt danach erfolgen, also innerhalb des einen Versuches. Für Siedler 3 halte ich davon aber jetzt auch nicht soooo wahnsinnig viel, da man ja quasi nur noch speichert und lädt, um wichtige Sekunden rauszuholen... Da müsste man auch In-Game-Time und Real-Time separat aufführen...
Mein Englisch ist nicht wirklich gut (verstehen ist ok, selber schreiben eher nicht :) ), um an solchen Diskussionen teilzunehmen zu können, deshalb auf deutsch.
Also mir macht das nichts aus, wenn zukünftig im Leicht-Modus gespielt werden darf. Ehrlich gesagt, habe ich auch bisher nie an den Schwierigkeitsgrad gedacht, dass man ihn auch einstellen kann... Aber wäre in Ordnung so. Dann werden demnächst ein paar neue Rekorde aufgestellt :-)
Es sollte dann aber noch in den Regeln erläutert werden.
