Yeah as someone else said, irl racers take hours to tune their car for each individual track just to save a second or two off their lap time. Imo, driving the car is only half the fun and half the skill.

Splitting the categories would be cool in a perfect world, but rn there just isn't enough manpower. And then what if BeamNG changes something (like when they overhauled the Civetta Bolide and old configs were no longer compatible with the new car)?
