The current Super Mod has not logged in for over 2 months. Also, their last submitted run of any game was over 3 years ago. It appears they are not active in speedrunning anymore.

It's possible they missed my Tweet. They posted Tweets within a couple hours of mine, though. Maybe you could try reaching them instead.

This game needs rules defined to it. I already have talked to other HE games speedrunners to figure out which rules should be added. If you do not wish to add me as a moderator, then I encourage you to add @plank instead. https://www.speedrun.com/user/plank He is a top speedrunner of HE games. He has a run of this game, but it is not submitted.

This game has no rules defined. I would like to write some rules, and add more categories for the other tracks in this game.

The only Mod for this game has not logged in for two months. I have tried to add them on Discord and YouTube, but have not received any response.

This is the same Super Mod of Namco Museum (PS2/GCN/XBOX). If you know of any other way to contact them, let me know.

There needs to be some slight changes to this game. The rules for Dig Dug Arrangement timing are vague and do not explicitly state when the timing ends. I have come up with a concrete timing rule to eliminate any ambiguity in these rules. Additionally, the All High Scores category needs to be separated between GameCube and PS2/XBOX versions. The default high scores are different depending on which game you play, so it is unfair to compare them together.

Both moderators of this game are not responding to off-site contact. Neither of them have a Twitter account on their profile. I was able to reach the green sword Mod on Discord earlier this month to get my first run verified. However, they are no longer responding to my messages. The Super Mod has not accepted my friend request. I also commented on their most recent YouTube video, but didn't get a response.

The green sword Mod is unable to add me as a moderator, so I did not bother asking. It appears they are not active in speedrunning anymore, as their last run was submitted 5 months ago.

Both of the Super Mod's runs of this game have their video deleted.

I am glad you think so. I thought it was unfair to compare different versions of the game against each other.

In the future, we can also add a Atari 5200, Commodore 64, or Intellivision board if anyone ever submits those.

@NightEagle13000 Thanks for the feedback. Please submit as many runs as you would like. If you come up with any ideas for more categories, you can submit those as well.

@danielr The ZXSpectrum version is now under a separate board from the Arcade version, as is the Atari 2600 version. I made this change to prevent unfair comparisons of different versions of the game. Please submit runs to as many categories as you would like!

This leaderboard is meant to be for fun and for casual players. The official Pole Position leaderboard is available on Twin Galaxies website.

We don't have to just limit ourselves to the qualifying lap category. We can add as many silly categories as you can think of! Here are some suggestions.

• Fastest crash
• Crash into every sign
• Low gear only
• Full race instead of only the qualifying lap

If you have an idea for a silly category you want to run, or want to run one of these listed above, you can either message me and ask about it, or just submit one and put in the run description what you want the run to be. If I like the idea, I will add it!

Quick reminder for everyone when submitting times: Don't forget to add a "0" after your milliseconds. If your lap time was 57"50, for example, please input that as 57s and 500ms. If you inputted the milliseconds as 50ms, your time would show up as 57s and 050ms. If you forget, though, don't worry! I will be checking it anyway :]

There needs to be some changes to this game's board. There are multiple, completely different versions of this game that need to be separated into different categories. Comparing the Atari 2600 version against the arcade version is not practical, because the games work differently.

The only moderator has not logged in for over a month. I tried to contact them on Twitter and got no response. I sent them a friend request on Discord, and just got a response after trying a third time to reach them. After they responded, they removed me from their friend list.

It appears they are not active into speedrunning anymore. Their twitter profile states they are an "ex-speedrunner." They have not submitted any runs to any game in over 6 months. Based on their response, it doesn't seem like they are going to be active anytime soon.

If you don't want to add me, then I urge you to add Daniel Yamnitz instead. Though he has not logged in for a long time, he is one of the top players of this game in the world, and perhaps the best recorded player. I have tried to contact him as well to learn more about the game. He appears to be very knowledgeable about it.

I changed "Gold" to "PC/PS4" and "No Gold" to "Mobile" because these were essentially the same thing. There are too many differences between PC and mobile AdCap to keep them on the same leaderboard.

Most people I asked said this would be a better change.

Most people's placement on the leaderboard will be unchanged, notably the top placements.

If more people try to submit runs without Gold, Time Warps, or boosts, I will separate those again.

If more people submit runs on PS4, I will separate those.

Oh yeah, I should have said "for guitar." My fault.

I might do that, and just separate by platform. I think for now I will leave everything alone. There just wasn't enough responses to warrant a change. Not a lot of people actively submit runs to this game.

I just discovered it's possible to watch an ad on mobile to double your profits for a period of time. I would want to prohibit that, too, if we are going to standardize all platforms.

I think @Bat 's statement about how both platforms have advantages over each other is a great point. Changing the categories to With Time Warp and Without Time Warp standardizes the differences between PC and Mobile.

The idea of "If you want a better time, just play on your phone." just doesn't feel right to me. Some people prefer playing on PC and some prefer mobile. There shouldn't be an advantage to players who prefer mobile, if the game plays exactly the same on both and the game is free-to-play on both platforms.

I do want to try to listen to everyone, though. Just because I think the rules should be changed, doesn't mean everyone else does. If like 80% or 90% of people think we should keep the leaderboard the way it is, then I won't change it.

I would like to propose a rule change to prohibit the use of Time Warps in No Gold categories.

On mobile versions of the game, a free Time Warp is currently available upon starting a game, without requiring Gold. This free Time Warp is not available on the Steam version of the game.

The purpose of the No Gold subcategory is to differentiate runs that use Gold to useTime Warps and finish the run faster. Using Time Warps in a No Gold run causes the run to essentially play just like a With Gold run.

The free Time Warp for mobile players is unfair to players who play on Steam.

If we make this change, the "Gold" subcategory will be renamed to "With Time Warps" and the "No Gold" subcategory will be renamed to "Without Time Warps."

Please vote in this thread if you are FOR or AGAINST this change.

FOR - Ban the use of Time Warps in No Gold runs. AGAINST - Continue to allow the use of Time Warps in No Gold runs.

Voting ends at the end of July 2020, or when a 51% majority toward either side is reached. You must have a run on the leaderboard for your vote to count. You may submit a run during this period in order to vote.
