What if you bounce off Cappy midair, then on the frame that you land, you jump. Maybe that will count as you jumping, idk. This might come out n handy in min caps.
If you have a timer in TT runs, do you need to include the splits in the description of the run?
While watching the BTT for SMO any% 2p, in Wooded Kingdom I noticed that the player clipped through the red maze. I’m just wondering if the timesaves used in the BTT are/can/should be used in RTA runs.
I looked at the leaderboards for any% and I haven’t seen any runs done with ACE yet. Why? Am I just stupid?
I have never played the game, but I watch speedruns. A while back I thought up a timesaver, like the TAS does to clip into the star door in the lobby. Is it possible, and would this save any time?
I have a new category idea: 100%.
Timer starts when you select start race in 50cc and ends when you cross the finish line in 200cc.
Rules: Hard COM, no teams, versus race.
Objective: complete every course in every cc (like MK64).
I don’t know if this’ll work, but what if we do Lakitu Skip, then go into the castle, blj through the Star door, skipping a Bowser fight. I have not played the game, only watched speed runs/TAS and I’m wondering if this’ll work. Feel free to give your thoughts and suggestions on this topic!
What if we create a category where you have to collect 10 coins as fast as possible in each track, and cup. Timer starts when you clock start race/trial and ends when you collect your tenth coin.
