Allowing knife cheese at 120 was my line, but I got it. Than it was changing setting cheese mid run, now FPS adjustment through out a run. Whats next? Its getting ridiculous. The PC side needs to be addressed a bit more seriously.
Making a rule where players can lower their image quality to maintain 120 during bosses, screams "Give 60 its own category."
Condition and costume seem to affect it more then what weapon. You can also skate without a weapon.
Wont know which is the more popular board until after split. ATM there is no reason to do 60 fps, So of course 120 is the most popular.
Something tells me if 60 and 120 were separated some who arent up to snuff in 120 will run 60. Not to mention those unmotivated to submit because they cant compete with 120. If it does stay together, might as well make it just 120. Im guessing there are runners who went 120, but barely pass 60. The first 60 is in 25th place(Leon A) or somewhere around there is, Im guessing, not very motivating.

A 3 minute difference between using the knife and not using the knife is non sense.
If this game had ditman glitch it would be banned.
Do i have to rush a box the second Im able to or can I drop the gun off the first box i go to? I dont use the gun to stair skate or turn.
Probably shouldnt allow upgrades as claires turns into a magnum.
I dont see why there is any issue with a weapon being equipped during the run for quick turning or stair skating(you can do both with nothing equipped, a wasted of a slot.). Its something you start with and if they dont touch a box. itll be on them anyways. Forcing someone to waste time to put it in the box is odd. I dont use the box until main hall after grabbing the valve, would that be too late?
I often do it in standard. Always on an angle never directly into. Any time it happens it catches me off guard. I think it may have something to do with the direction you are holding, camera or character. Away from where youre being grabbed, towards where youre being grabbed. There was another game that had the same sort of thing. Cant remember what it was..
Everyone at this point should just let their frame rate fly and cap it at 120. Its a battle of which runners PC can maintain 120 the best anyways. I doubt all of the 120s are 120s. They just get further up on the free for all framerateboard if they cap at 120 even if they barely go beyond 60. Very unofficial leaderboard at the moment. Should treat this like the UFC everyone has to make weight, Which would be 60 as its a number majority should be able to reach and it takes the cheese out.
Top 120 players should test the same route they use on 120 on 60 and see what the difference is. I dont think its a coincidence 120 is dominating the board.
Separating 60 and 120, is like separating xbox one/ps4 and xbox one x/ps4 pro. on the other hand. Shouldn't happen.
If they released a different version and buffed the movement speed slightly would it be in the same category? Or buffed the knife damage. This is basically what frame rate does. That we know of so far.
In all scenarios the only thing used besides the knives is a rocket to end tyrant and a handgun bullet to end croc. Im pretty sure.
The rocket is needed to end tyrant.
save damaged knives from bosses for defense.
Should probably wait and see if the top of the leaderboard is pure 120s. If so, a split should be applied.
