No matter where players stop the time. The time should always count as are the rules stablished. At the beggining of final cutscene. Which is in my opinion the perfect time for an "End". Maybe the moderator didnt have time to check all videos in the end? I know that it may be very tiring to watch all videos before accepting runs. Thats why I would suggest we have multiple moderators in this game. C'mon! RRR is a big community
Is really a shame this game doesnt have much stuff on the board. I'm pretty sure there has been a lot of competition in speeddemosarchive.com that hasn't been shared here yet.
Sorry I was late to see your request .
The New category (Sega Master System) has been created. =)
You can submit your run on this category now.
As I don't know this version of the game. I haven't stablished any rules for the run (level, options, timing etc). I will watch your run and have some rules stablished based on it.
have fun, bro!
Where do I find this rom or the IPS file for download?
I've been looking like shit all over google
Are Retro Consoles like Retron Duo, 3. 4. 5. 6 considered to be emulation?
I've seen some runs on the forum being posted on these things like real Sega Genesis and SNES these days.
Mario allstars - all games in any% Super Widget Resident Evil Zero Silent Hill Homecoming DOOM 3 Turok PS3 Marvel Super Heroes War of the Gems Blood Omen 2: Legacy of Kain Bloodrayne 2 Duke Nukem MP or Forever Rock n Roll Racing Any Wipeout game Any Twisted Metal Game
I think a huge amount of streamers use everdrives to play all games. Specially casual playthroughs
Most of speedrunners use original consoles, But I seriously doubt that everyone has all actual original games they enjoy playing.
Cartridges are very pricy, and some of them are very rare. Like few dozens around for sale in the world.
Who are you, why do you want to find people to talk, what do you wanna talk about
etc
So it already means a minor time saving on playing the japanese version =)
Smelly_Mctroll,
Do the U.S version give you any "extra" textbox at some point?
I'm not sure, but it seems that the bosses in the Japanese release are slightly easier than the North America release. I notticed that in the JP Nebula doesn't do her bat attack so often as in the NA Version. Also, a couple other bosses feel a little less agressive and have less RNG variation.
Am I right? Am I wrong? Maybe it's just me, I don't know '-'
Hello, Smelly_Mctroll
To be a Mod It's always useful to have a little bit experience on how the forum works, and as I see you're new on Speedrun.com.
Anyway, It's always good to have more than 1 Mod. I can add you as a Mod if you think you are ready. What do you think?
Cheers
Is this a Oficial Release?
Cause I wanna know if this one works for the forum
@ Lighnat0r
Thank you very much!!
@ Lighnat0r
'-' How about changing the name X-men Series to X-men/Marvel Series? ;)
So it can embrace other similar games like Captain America and the avengers (Arcade, SNES, Genesis and NES)
http://www.speedrun.com/Captain_America_and_The_Avengers_NES
@ Lighnat0r I'm pretty aware that because the gameplay is similar it doesn't mean the same series. You are right that is kind of an ambiguous case. What I am saying is that since both available options are not perfect to fit, putting a Platforming beat'em up game in the same series as "versus fighting games only" is way more inaccurate. There are only Versus fighting games in that category. (Some of them are not Marvel, like Tatsumoto vs Capcom but again just VERSUS)
But putting two games same engine, same developer same style, same GENRES both marvel and both capcom
in the same series make much more sense. and have a lot more in common.
The main reason I ask that is because it will make much easier for players to find the game. X-Men Mutant apocalypse players can easilly feel tempted to play MSH: WotG and vice versa. Which will not happen for Fighting Versus players that are not interested in platforming beat'em ups. The game is totally lost on that series. That's why I ask one more time for you to change.
When I added this game http://www.speedrun.com/Dragon_The_Bruce_Lee_Story I tried to add Atari Jaguar as one of platforms the game was released for, but I notticed it can't be chosen. Why?
The following game was put in the wrong Series and I can't change it:
http://www.speedrun.com/Marvel_Super_Heroes_War_of_the_Gems
It was put in Marvel Versus series. And it is NOT a Marvel Versus Game.
Please change it to "X-Men Series"
The same of this game
http://www.speedrun.com/X-Men_Mutant_Apocalypse
Both are capcom platformer beat'm ups, and have the same Engine. They're very identical games, so they belong in the same series (X-Men Series)
Thank you!
