I’ve seen a series of speedrunning a certain overpowered mask given by Majora being used in ocarina of time. I.e. the fierce deity mask. There are other unfair mods including 60fps used by one YouTuber going by the same name who isn’t posting to this site but so he don’t get an unfair jump on us and competition can remain fair I say we ban these mods as he is getting runs fast enough to do shorts. That plus I also suspect edits with him. Let’s not allow them to use these mods in OOT speedruns.

can we create a level only practice rom specific section for defeat gannon where if you use a practice rom you can jump to the tower collapse? I'm still learning glitches and some I might have to get a new controller as my current one requires me to be in steam for ess to work which sucks.

Can someone enlighten this person in my comments on how opening your mind to new strats can help in randos and speedruns? This guy questioned how what I showed was a hack.

this one has been a white whale of mine for a while and set my times back big time. I can't do enemy isg and i have trouble keeping a straight line. is there a way to stay on the path or a way to get to the chest faster without bomb hover as i've not mastered it yet?

I decided to try ship of hark level speedrunning but there is no area to select levels we ran. why is that? I came from vanilla oot and i have glitched gannon's castle using the spirit trial glitch

I had some trouble with this one but off camera when i'm not making content it runs fine. I have a pc port of ocarina of time that if someone has good hardware will run at 60+ fps. i'm proposing if possible we add ship of harkinian to the list of things we can use for ocarina speedruns. ship of harkinian will give us the ability to do randomizers and customize our zelda games with some cool stuff I personally love the 60+ fps running speed.

Just putting it out there. Until I can get a better controller I’m using my keyboard and steam controller as one controller as I can’t bind all buttons to the steam controller. So little heads up on dolphin if you use a steam controller. If you play ANY game on that emulator not sure if it carries over to others but the left grip button acts as f7 and will reset to the last save state. I have triggered that in twilight princess doing some casual dungeon crawls. Needed to put that out. Be careful with that.

I’m using project64 1.6 and I’m having issues getting techniques and glitches like isg to work. Can someone tell me which settings to enable or disable to get them to work?

New speedrunner here and looking to learn as much as i can. my run was rejected but for me it is a chance to learn from my mistakes and do better. can anyone suggest some tutorials to aid in my learning experience including isg and other speedrunning methods? I tried speedrunning in minecraft but that game is so hard to speedrun in. I just gave up on minecraft speedruns. however zelda I'm passionate about the games and love them. I want to push my abilities further in glitchless.
