Yo guys I discovered a glitch, whenever I press the start button (the right of the touch pad) in the bentley cutcenes (when he talks in the binocu-com) the game dialogue glitches out and then it skips it. I think this might be faster guys, let me know if i found a brand new skip . Also I cant play the swedish version of sly 2 so now i am sad and will keep playing on ps2
The Korean version has always been easy and straight-forward to obtain, however lately there have been more issues with people getting locked out of their accounts, and said accounts no longer being dependently obtainable. As its already been mentioned, nowadays you are allowed to mod your console and get the game like that with a license file you may already have, as well as other benefits such as controlling fan speeds, using practice tools etc. Nowadays this is the recommended method for getting the Korean version.
Emulator is also allowed, but due to it being much faster than all forms of official hardware, it is time-gated meaning you cannot get a time in the top 40% of runs on an emulator. It is meant to be an accessibility point rather than a full substitute for running the game and as a stepping stone to encourage original hardware being used.
Board split will likely never be considered (as it has been for the past 7 years), since the differences between versions practically don't exist outside of language differencials. In the case of Sly 1, Original and Remaster are split as they are very different versions of the game in terms of glitches and particularly load exploits. There is no difference between Korean Sly 2 and every other PS3 version of the game other than language.
Yeah we talked about the potential for DS to get its own board, as well as splitting PS2/Wii from 360/PS3/Mac in the server.

hey so about a year ago, a bunch of us (incl. Mischievous, who is Super Mod for the SEGA All-Stars series) made a Discord server for SEGA Superstars speedrunning encompassing SEGA Superstars, and SEGA Superstars Tennis. A few of us worked on strats and notes for the game and we had reached to GreenBomber about actually incorporating the server and linking it to the game page, to little avail. Recently we noticed that GreenBomber made none of our requested changes and left this server, and even more recently and inexplicably, new moderators were added.
The link to our server is here. We're hoping to clear up some things about the board development and about how our efforts that have been fizzled out of fruition. It is good to see new eyes show up in this game, I hope we all can work well for the game and leaderboard health.
Hey yeah, this is all already being sorted out in the discord server, I would highly recommend joining discussions in there. It seems that more than likely Doom Wings / No Doom Wings will be split, since the game literally already does that by default. With Chaos Control a lot of people seem to be on board with abusing it and making strategies with optimising its use, so I can't imagine its much of a big deal as it stands. Every runner has that five-second freeze, its up to the runner on how effectively they use it and if they want to go out of their way to charge it

Historical reasons more or less, the other Rush games have made moves to SRC so given enough interest that change and migration could be applied here
