Quick presentation :

i'm a long time Phantasy Star fan, my 1st action rpg on pc was Universe , i played it for about 5000h, did it a lot of time over and over, and then i did Portable, Portable 2 and Nova, i also have played both PSO / PSO2.

Lets get to the topic :

A long term project of mine was to route :

Ep 1 NG+ Hard Ep 2 NG+ Hard

Ep 2 NG Any%

My idea for NG+ is simple

Getting started on a pre-made setup characters (story finished), with max lvl and onpoint gear,stats / (counting rebirth aswell for extra pp/atk) What i was thinking at first was a mix of Double Saber and Rifle , For both mid and long range, DS (DAgito , Rengoku etc) for Mobility ofc.

-> Continue -> Selecting the character -> Start Timer

Then doing all story mission in hard mode , one by one and when its possible by chaining ACT , And timing at the end of the last mission.

I think it can be a good and smooth thing , since we'r able to exploit mission chains when the game is finished and by selecting hard mode, less text more actions, tough we still can't skip cutscene and mashing is still real.

I'm gonna work on routing the endings aswell , actually i'm working on road to ruins ending. btw the actual any% feels like tutorial% more than any% since escaping after the tutorial didnt mean finishing the game even if it looks like , maybe for the endings run calling it true any% would be a great idea. If you want we can share research Grogmonkey since you'v been working on light of hope already best regards !
