The main categories are: any%, any% glitchless, 100%, 50%, maximum casualties and 100% glitches.

So today I've been doing some runs on Bizhawk and I feel that this emulator is the best. It's 100% accurate and you can record input and save on the memory card for final in-game time.

I now use a DualShock 4 controller, I used to use the Dualshock 3 but now Motionjoy doesn't work anymore. Xbox 360 controllers work also with both Abe games.

It's a wnidower. It let's you position the screen to any size-solution you want.

Exoddus hype!

I'm thinking about submitting my run for Abe's Exoddus any% this year. Abe is 20 years old this year and it'll be a great way to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Abe and Oddworld and also there's a storm coming..

Well each cutscene skip I think lasts for about one second or so.

For future runs on all Abe games, cutscenes need to be installed whilst playing the game. I had a message from an SDA moderator and he suggests that future runs will need to include cutscenes. So therefore, runs without cutscenes will be rejected on this site too.

You should start with 70 star because it doesn't have much complicated glitches to learn. I haveen't done a run myself yet but one day I would learn 70 star.

I notice this more when I check my best time overall for any%. Starwin should be in first place and i should be second. They may need to reset the leaderboards again to fix the timing issue.

Me and Dooty have experienced this whilst TASing the game. That's how we fixed the problem by skipping the cutscenes normally.

So I have finally been attempting 100% runs this weekend. Still not completed a run yet but I'm getting close very time I get passed the Monsaic Liines. One of the things I couldn't do whilst I was practising was the iinfinite roll glitch in the last room before the Boardroom. I know I can just teleport passed the motion sensor. I try doing the exact movements as Qwerku and rtsmarty do, but the glitch doesn't happen.

The new layout is messing up my leaderboard page in New 'n' Tasty. I set it to compare against in-game time but no it compares against realtime instead. This needs to be fixed.

There is actually a DLL that can put the game into a window that I can re-size to just how I like it. All you need to do is place the dll into the game's folder and when the game opens it opens up in a stretchable Window. It was made exclusively to work with Abe's Oddysee and Abe's Exoddus. The games work fine on my own laptop. I will be taking it with me so I can practice the game before my run.

I have added my Dualshock 3 controller and a pyshical copy of Abe's Oddysee for my run to the list. The dualshock 3 controller gets connected to a USB port on the computer and Motionjoy is installed and then the computer needs to be restarted into Disable Driver Signature mode to install the PS3 controller driver.
