PCSX will probably give you an inaccurate time because of the loads. I recommend Dolphin if you want to submit for now, until you get a capture card.

A SpongeBob speedgaming marathon won't be successful because BFBB and TSSM are the only viable speedgames. TSSM is barely viable, ToS is questionable.

I'm also curious to know how you plan on promoting this event. Your Twitch channel doesn't have many followers.

As far as I know, the official PS3 version is unobtainable unless you downloaded it back in the day when it was available. It was also extremely buggy so it probably isn't viable for speedruns anyway.

This is an unrealistic proposal. The people who want to play the game competitively will get the fast console, much like they will for all other competitive speedgames. All multi-console games have loading time differences; this is not a special case.

Reminder that this game does not have regional differences due to the text box and cutscene speeds not changing across languages. No game is perfect, but we have some positives to work with in BFBB. Editing load times is absolutely ridiculous; good players will switch to the fast consoles in due time and have no problem with doing so.

It's been public for quite some time now.

Some top runners actually want to run Early BB/CB so it is now on trial. This category first appeared as Power% earlier this year when a bunch of other meme categories existed and some people were interested in running it, however it was deleted due to lack of interest.

If the category has does not become popular, it may eventually be removed again.

Some reasons for adding are Sand Mountain being slow and painful in 200%, while the boss fights are just as bad. Now that we have more opinions on the 200% category since more players have started running it, these flaws have been exposed and have caused interest in a "bargain" 200%. The category can also easily be completed in under an hour, which is appealing to some people.

This is why I always regret responding to posts here... People who don't actually run the game think they know everything.

Xbox and Xbox 360 are the only fast consoles. Everything else is slow. End of topic, this thread is getting locked.

And to clarify one of my previous points, TSSM has extended cheat% to remove the sliding and driving sections that most people find boring. It actually has a purpose. Extended cheat% has no purpose in BFBB.

I'm not locking this thread so you can make more threads like this that will be deleted. 200% is not a meme category: its purpose is to showcase CB in levels that it would otherwise be unviable in one full run, and its route differs greatly compared to all other categories. Extended Cheat% would just be an easier 200% that shows less of the run.

You should run the game before recommending categories. It will make your opinions better.

Another graphic issue is that splits.io sections under runs now have transparent boxes. This causes the text to blend into the set background of the game page and cause an eyesore. Please return to the solid boxes behind the splits.io sections.

The old layout looked a lot nicer. The run tabs were a lot more organized and there was much less unused space.

Edit: I cannot arrange the order of full-game categories now.
