It does not. Just looked at a video of it for the first time right now. Is there a place that explains how this works somewhere? And or how it's done?
Edit. If I understand it correctly, I see 3 doors. One in lvl2, lvl6 and lvl8, that are candidate key doors. (2, push block, shudder door) (6, bomb wall) (8, bomb wall) In level 2 youve got a block in the way between the push block and the key door, that seems a problem. The one in level 8, the bomb wall appears to be too far away to get to the door in time.
Do you have to be at zero keys for this to work?
So if only level 6 works, which you could do at zero keys. that puts you at 10 total for the run.
Max Keys. "10 in Second Quest (we think)"
from what i see you can only have 9 keys at the end of 2Q.
the only keys you leave out are in level 8. the Any key. and a key before that(red bubble room). which would take a key to get to. so i assume we can skip that key.
lvl1 (+1), lvl2 (+5), lvl3 (0), lvl4 (+3), lvl5 (+1), lvl6 (0), lvl7 (+1), lvl8 (0), lvl9 (-2) = (+9)
^ i was under the impression it was somewhat frowned upon for a run, an intentional death. didnt know it was actually a set rule for a run. the list of rules makes it sound like only deathwarps using up+a are disallowed.
of course i was only basing this on the fact that ive watched a leaderboard run that intentionally died after grabbing the white sword.
So I'm playing on the Wii VC. If I create a new name with the registration. Can I play straight from there? Or do I need to also reset before starting that new file?
