A no hit run would basically be an any% run with a few extra inputs and hoping the enemies aren't in bad positions. I did a little test run to see how a no hit run would be and I've come to the conclusion that it'd only be a very little bit away from an any% run, the only point that could really lose time against any% would be the tricky jump at the end of the game which doesn't even lose that much time, so I'm not going to add it as a category.
gl with getting WR in this, gonna take a lot of grinding, with enough grinding I could get WR but I have other game I want to grind rn. Also since the old yoyogames website is down I'd like to mention that there is a website dedicated to Kirby fan games: http://www.kirbysrainbowresort.net/fan/fangames/
The link is broken because the site it was hosted on was taken down, later today I'll have to upload the file directly for download. Ill let you know when I get around to doing that.
I've messed around with PAL GC a bit and it doesn't seem to be any different form USA, so it shouldn't matter on that. JP is very different from the NTSC and PAL versions. The reason no one really runs PAL is because no one really has PAL, but again with my testing PAL is pretty much the same as NTSC so you should be fine on that.
IL boards were a thing of an old leaderboard when speedrunning for this game was first being discussed, when speedrun.com came, I was really the only person still interested in running the game. I added the IL boards since people only wanted to run those, but since those people haven't been active since then I think overall removing the IL boards is the best thing to do.
I'm fairly certain that Wii is allowed, I used to run Wii before mine broke and I think there are some other people that run on a Wii. If your run is Wii I think you should just submit it as GameCube.
Hey everyone we're thinking about starting a marathon for Pac-Man speedruns, but before we decide on dates and such we need to know who all is interested. If you're interested and have a run to submit, use this form: http://goo.gl/forms/evkEpchgRU

I'm fairly certain that PC is allowed, the Time Trial WR for Volcanic Panic uses it.
This should probably be a separate game from the original instead of a new category.
What you should do is go to the Mario Fan Games page and click 'request game'
I found the video: also my PB is actually a 19:08.
Hello, you probably don't know this but there was a speedrunning community for Hydro Thunder before speedrun.com was a thing (All of us played the PS1 version) , it only consisted of 3 people, including me, and the category we ran was Circuit Mode (I think the others also ran All Tracks, but I stuck with Circuit Mode).
Circuit Mode is an interesting category, you get money by winning races, but you have to pay money to enter races, so what we would do is pay to enter the shorter races and win them to get more money, then we'd pay to enter the longer races and immediately exit them to skip them. My PB in this is 20:39, which should show a lot since it's more than 10 minutes faster than the current All Tracks WR.
So yeah that's all I have to say, I want to get back into running Hydro Thunder, but I want to start back with Circuit Mode.
I had actually thought of that before, but I wasn't sure if anyone else would like the idea. But now that someone else also thinks it should be done, that gives me a green light to add them.
@Ruse I wasn't really trying to have an argument, all that I posted was just what I was feeling at the time (And since I was really depressed that day I don't think most of it came through how I intended it) I still want to keep my vote the same, but I also don't want to argue about this anymore. It'll either change or it won't.
OK, I have changed the layout to what you suggested and it does look a lot better.
I agree with timing ending after the goal is met, therefore skill would matter instead of just having to add 2 minutes (or however long it is, I don't remember but I'm gonna get back into this game soon) just because the game won't let it end. But if you're doing one of the freestyle championships and you fail one you would have to add the time for the entire thing.
Hi, I'm PrinceRallis. I currently have ran MKU, KAR, and KDL1 as far as Kirby runs go. I also speedrun alot of Pac-Man, with Pac Man World 2 being my first speedgame and at one point having WR in pac man world rally. I also used to be a big runner of Crash Bandicoot the Huge Adventure. I also have a few WR's in Mahjong Titans. And the last thing I should mention is that I'm doing a challenge to speedrun as many games as I can, so I'll get into more Kirby and Pac-Man and Crash and everything else eventually.
http://tequibo.com/games/box-life/ Scroll down below the picture and click which operating system you have, and it should automatically download.
Well if you counted SM64DS you'd also have to include the Advance games and maybe even Deluxe.
"FLYPAPER" I think should not be allowed since wrecks are part of the game and removing them would be cheating, but I don't see any problem with "GETONUP".
