Yeah, points have been brought up before in a big discussion and...nothing really happened, so... In all honesty there's just larger priorities for the site (always), so points will have to be elsewhere.
Yeah, I'm also confused here.
ROBLOX is a pretty large game, and some people are going to troll. They might insult you or interfere, or say things like "im gonna tell the owner to ban you," but it doesn't mean anything. If the moderators of the series have been harassing you through the game, then there's probably more to the story, but these screenshots also don't show any connection to anyone.
https://www.speedrun.com/thatwasablessin/allposts normal-ish post but zero context and no user details, probably from somewhere else
The ROBLOX series moderators handle game requests, rather than the usual method of speedrun.com moderators.

wow have we been getting a lot recently ew
Meme? It's not a traditional flavor, but it stands in its own right. Back on topic. I like olives, mushrooms, and sausage, it's a good combo.
You could try using a negative starting time to kind of make it count down, but that's the best you'll get. Not sure what you mean with "splitting towards different splits", unless you mean subsplits (which are an addon).
3DS is one of the tougher platforms to record for. Unless you want to install a (rare and expensive) capture card or Homebrew (which has its own recording drawbacks), using an external camera is your only option.
Sounds like a situation where you'd either select RTA or IGT as the timing standard for the game (like how Super Metroid eventually chose RTA) or a chance to split each category into two and develop different routes optimized to each.
I mean, certain tournaments already exist for certain games, just check out the Global Speedrunning Association and their streams. Beyond that, I don't know what'd be different.
It also isn't about finding easy ways to play.
This discussion isn't going anywhere...
I stream rarely, but I can use Twitch on my phone and set that to the side.
I'd guess whatever hardware that would be on would be running an emulator not accurate enough for speedrun standards. Not worth it for speedrunning.
It's entirely up to personal preference. I like one screen for the game and splitting the other screen in half for OBS and LiveSplit.
