I guess he means livesplit running in front of the game with the game in fullscreen mode. I personally could not make it work and am playing with the game in windowed mode, even though it bothers me slightly.

I noticed in some of the fastest runs, people have still unlockable elements for Ironclad. Obviously they reset their progression in order to minimize the cards / relic pools to have more chance at good cards. I wonder how they do that and looked for more information here.
