Yea I don't think that's true either. There is no trigger for the second map in the train. Perhaps we may be misunderstanding but unless I see it happen I don't think it's true.
@DeadBoris I'm looking for a better consistent Any% time save I don't really run glitchless.
I'm sure other people did too
@SumPup the thing is hitting that trigger doesn't work unless your spinning for some reason. After 02 was released I tried some stuff to possibly hit the trigger from outside with no success until this was discovered.
I also do not take credit for the Any% time save. Credit goes to @Turtlation in the discord for showing it off in their self taught speedrun.
So through further investigation, I have discovered that the Any% time save does not require setting sensitivity to 4. All you need to do is shake your camera around as fast as you can and you can even do it on 0.52 sensitivity making this trick even more viable.
Some small time saves have been discovered for the main category's and I'm making this post to bring light to them. The first time save is for glitchless and inbounds runs. The box skip. Box skip has been known about for a while and all it is is being able to skip the animation at the end of 01 where you are forced to fall down onto a box after exiting the window. For a while, we weren't sure exactly how to do it but we do now! Thanks, to IUNABYTE in discord together we were able to milk the devs for information and find exactly where the trigger for this animation is. In order to perform the box skip, you simply have to stay as close as possible to the wall when exiting the window in order to maneuver around the trigger. JUST TO BE CLEAR THIS IS NOT A GLITCH, all this is is just moving around a certain trigger in order to save some time. The trigger and the path you need to take are shown in this poorly drawn picture in the link below.

Now for the Any% time save! This time save also comes in 01 and allows you to hit the load trigger for 02 from outside the map instead of having to use the easter egg to get back in the map and go to the door. In order to do this you have to set your Roblox sensitivity to 4 and drop down here - https://imgur.com/gallery/1AW682S Once you drop down begin shaking your camera around as fast as you can and after a little, you should end up hitting the load zone. GL!
Also, a lot of big/small glitches have already been known.
Big and small commands DO AFFECT THE PLAYER. However, in order for them to take effect, you have to reset your character. Therefore they cannot be allowed in runs.
Inbounds uses some major glitches. Also, I just want to know what people think about it so maybe we can make a poll. If not then fine.
Also if glitchless became NMG than the 2:29 strat (which most of you probably don't know about) would make much more sense as a trick used in such a category.
I want to know what people think about changing the glitchless category to be no major glitches. Imo the category would be much more fun as you could do things like jump on props to go through the window in 01 or over the fence in 02. I feel it would really open up the category so I want to know people's opinions on it.
So NMG would replace inbounds but I'm okay with that tbh. It depends on what everyone else thinks though.
By pressing L when the game is loading you will be put into speedrun mode. This mode features a built in timer and automatically ends the timer when reaching the door at the end of level 1. Also I don't think the devs have any intentions to patch any glitches as they are working on the rest of the game and seem to enjoy the speedrunning community somewhat. And cheats are only allowed in certain categories.
Wow, I leave for a day and this happens! Um... Can't the timings from Switch be converted to NES timing though? The thing is, I enjoy playing on the Switch much more then on emulator.
