Don't care what happens between console and emulator. Just want to say thank you to the mods for being willing to deal with this stuff and care enough to keep things going
Got it thanks for the reply. Sorry for any false hope that might have caused
Today I was playing the arcade1up version of this game. On the first level I used the jump+attack powerful attack. I killed the first foot soldier then I killed the remaining 2 foot soldiers with this same attack. I was Michaelangelo and before it hit the ground my sprite seemed to clip above the ground and I was immediately taken to the boss fight
Is there a discord channel or anywhere people are sharing strategies for this game? I feel like the pitches you get are somewhat random and therefore what you can do is limited, but my goal is usually to get one run and then bunt to the catcher for a catch, or back to the pitcher for a quick out. When I'm on defense I'm trying to get the batter to put the ball in play on the first pitch and if they miss I'm going for the strikeout. Would love to hear other strategies or ways we could optimize the run.
Hey everyone. I loved this game as a kid and was hoping to run it. I was going to run on my retron 5 and wanted to see if that would be accepted. Thank you!
Hey everybody! I was just curious about the combining of emulator and console runs. Was there anything in particular that happened that called for combining? Not complaining about the move I was just curious what went into the decision to go that route.
Thanks in advance to the admins
I particularly like the rage relay where you pick each character in the order you would like to play as them and get one life with each character.
Hello all
I started speedrunning SOR2 about 2 months ago. I do not have a ton of time, so I started trying to speedrun on the easy difficulty as about 30 minutes is a sweet spot for me either waking up early before work, or at night before bed. I exceeded my original goal of a sub 30 min run, and now want to get to sub 25. I feel like I have plateaued where most of my runs end in the 28 minute mark. I try to constantly improve where my bottlenecks are at but still seem to be stuck at 28 which makes me want to ask a few questions: -Is playing only on easy teaching me bad habits? -I have been watching the Anthopants no death mania attempts on twitch and wonder if I should be trying to play on harder difficulties to improve my overall skill -Should I be developing easy specific strats? -Am I an idiot for even deciding a sub 25 on easy is a benchmark I want to obtain?
Sorry for the long post mostly just looking for advice of those that have done this before. I am fully aware that this may just be I don't have the necessary amount of time to make the jump to the next skill plateau and that is ok too. I am just curious what others have experienced.
Thanks!
Please don't create a separate category if I am the only person running. I appreciate that this is a small community and will work on a run in steam
Is it possible to submit a run completed on the 3DS, or is that platform not eligible?
