How can I manipulate the 3rd boss in order that both of them go to the opposite corner on the first cicle? It seems like first cicle is based in something external to the stage 30. Has someone any clue?

Is that allowed? I have supposed that it isn't allowed. Maybe it should be stated in the rules :)

If you find like it, i propose the following categories to be added.

Panic%. Panic mode till lvl 99 is displayed. (I can upload a run) Hard10%. 10 hard levels. (It can be accesed pressing 1P shot and 2P shot at same time selecting normal mode) (I can also upload a run) All lifes. 50 levels, no skip, all game lifes grabbed.

Guys, are you using 8 way input for your runs?

You can check if diagonals are being tracked going into service mode and doing the input test. Are the diagonals being lighted up or not?

Judging the Lvl 33 of both of you(haven't done further research) I would say both of the current submitted runs have the diagonal input allowed.

I have no problem at all with that, in the arcade machines i played when i was young the 8 way input was working fine, but according to Mame patch notes pang3 is 4-way:

rom mameinfo.dat: 0.178: AJR changed joysticks in Pang! 3 to 4-way as flyers and manuals indicate. Removed buttons 2 and 3 (even service mode only shows one "Shot" button).

I'm willing to try to start my speedrunning career with this game (cause i love it since child).

Can I use mame?, Is livesplit a must, or can i do it w/o it and then measure the length at the end?
