What was the reason? I know there were some runs that did not show the objective/timer in the top-left corner. If that was the reason, it got removed because the rules for timing say that timing starts when the objective/timer first appear.

Hi folks,

Some of you may have noticed your runs being re-timed either today or around a month ago. This is because some runs were submitted but not re-timed properly when first verified. I used https://vidtimer.com, and the following frames to re-time:

• For All Objectives, the first frame I used is the first frame the objective/timer appear in the top left corner. The last frame I used is the first frame the "Objective complete" text appears.

• For Jumpscare%, the first frame I used is the first frame the objective/timer appear in the top left corner. The last frame I used is the first frame the objective/timer disappear entirely.

I decided to keep unavailable runs up as well as they have been verified in the past. Obviously there is no way to see those videos now, and so there is no way to re-time them.

Hopefully this clears up any confusion if you are wondering why your run may have gotten re-timed. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to message me here or on any of my platforms linked on my account.

The objective must also be present in the top-left corner. It is very difficult to accurately retime otherwise

That actually sounds pretty cool! Does the timer stop when the vanish cap switch has been stepped on then?

You might want to put them in first if you're gonna use them just to see if it adds to 19:59, but it should. Also, since you're doing elevator clip instead of dw reds at the moment, you could probably take 30 seconds or so off dark world and add it to hmc

@Revi64 Cool, yeah I believe the route I do is the fastest for no LBLJ according to the RTA guide. Anyways, like I said, I'll round my golds to the nearest second and add 10-20s to each of them (adding more time to longer/harder splits ofc)

Just curious, what stars do you get from each stage? I run no LBLJ and my sum of best is literally 16:59 lol.. what I could do is add like 10-20 seconds to each of my gold splits and make them add to 19:59. This is what I do for the first 15 stars:

bob 1 (bomb clip) wf 6 ccm 8 dark world 9 ssl 11 lll 12 hmc 15

I had trouble with that for a while too, can be hard to figure out how to do well. I eventually figured out a setup that worked for me and is generally pretty fine now.

On the subject of different routes, I noticed kanno's wr for 16 no lblj had some pretty big route changes to lunarjump's old wr.. like wf100 instead of ccm, and pless in ssl instead of rolling rocks. Does anyone know if these changes are actually faster?

Since he's not doing cless, doubtful. I'm guessing he probably gets slide star in CCM

Niice, I mainly run 16 no lblj as well. I would chip in.. if I had any sort of online banking set up. I'm sure people will come through, and if this is happening, I'm coming for the prize

Awesome! Yeah, I only picked it back up when I first started running it, hospital wasn't even a map yet when I first played way back in 2015. Thank you for the quick reply!

I'm not sure how long school has been a map for, but will we see it added to the leaderboards at any point? Or is there even an option to do that now? I have a few runs I can submit if it's possible to add it.
