Hi, would it be possible to include the bonus level in the Any% category?

After completing level 30, the bonus level starts immediately, and the ending screen only appears after completing the bonus level.

So I think it would be better if the run ended on the ending screen, once the bonus level is finished.

Hi, a 3rd edition of the game will be released on June 2021, and Fort Boyard Nouvelle Edition (Escape Game Fort Boyard) will have a DLC to get the new content from the 3rd edition (confirmed by Microids). I don't know if the 3rd edition will also be sold separately or just as a DLC for the previous game.

If a new speedrun page is created for the 3rd edition, I think it will be better to submit runs using the DLC 2021 to the 3rd edition leaderboard (with a variable to specify which version is used). Otherwise we could add the variable on this page and put all versions on the same leaderboard.

All the arbitrary categories (that doesn't require to reset the game data) have been moved into Misc.

Hi, Microids announced "Fort Boyard - Nouvelle Edition" (Fort Boyard - New Edition). It will be released on June 25.

Once this new edition is released, the rankings may change. If you have suggestions, you can suggest them by replying to this thread!

Hi, during a challenge, in the pause menu there's a "Give up" button, do you prefer to allow the use of this button or not? Please reply in comment.

There are 4 difficulty levels: Easy, Medium, Hard and Heroic (You have to unlock Hard and Heroic).

When the difficulty is high, you will have more things to do in the challenges so you will have to be faster, and you will have less indications.

I was wondering if there's a difference between the difficulty we can choose in the Options and the one we have to choose when we press Adventure (or Boyard Party), so I asked Microids which modes are affected by the difficulty chosen in the Options and they replied:

"La difficulté prend généralement effet sur totalité des modes de jeu, sauf si un mode de jeu vous propose de la modifier avant de démarrer." (The difficulty usually takes effect on all game modes, unless a game mode offers you to change before starting.)

So the difficulty in the Options is only for Training mode because you have to choose the difficulty when you go to Adventure or Boyard Party.

This message is to inform you that the game runs faster on Nintendo Switch since the 8.0.0 system update. No changes were made to the leaderboard.

Note that if new Nintendo Switch consoles (such as Pro or Mini) are announced, you will probably need to specify which system you used in the run you are submitting.

Hi, until now, to finish the run you had to hear a sound that means tea is served. But sometimes this sound happens randomly / never happens / happens multiple times. So I decided that to complete the game, the bottom of the cup must touch the tray. The sound will still be used in exceptional cases.

Note: the times of already existing runs will be adapted to this new rule.
