I've added Normal and Pro difficulty categories and removed Easy, Hard and Super difficulties from the list of choices. Checking all runs including obsolete runs I found no runs submitted using those difficulties.
I've added the categories in the interest of expanding the game a little further from the previous Standard/Hyper system.
Since there have been no objections the following has been completed:
-Original Mode rules changed to In Game Time. -Existing runs updated to IGT (no changes in standings). -Original Mode sub-category changed from Standard/Virtua Formula to US/JP. -"Multiple Cars" added to list of cars.

I tried this last night and I can't really do it using the buttons. Switching to using up and down to shift made it easier to do on my controller because I can quickly slide from up to down faster than mashing a button.
I realized what's happening is that whenever you shift from low to high while accelerating and the tachometer is in the red the car does the skid animation and stays at the same speed for a second. For instance at the very start if you wait too long to shift it does this. So for Gear Gacha it seems you have to shift down and up so fast that you don't lose any speed and you have to be going fast enough that the tach is in the red when you shift low.
Oddly enough when we do the downshift on the big turns this doesn't happen even though the tach is in the red. I'm not sure if that's just because we're not accelerating or if there's a window of time in there that allows shifting back to high while in the red and immediately start accelerating again. Maybe both.
