Hello, I decided to close the register one day before the tournament, the april 2 at 11:59 pm. For the moment, we are 4 registered: Firen WaluigiMB BProd DamageJosh For a better quality of the tournament, we need to be 5 or more, so if you hesitate to register because you think you don't have the skills to participate, you can go ! Because 2 of the 4 players are begginer on the game, so you if you are a begginer too, you have your chances! I don't want to force anyone, it's your choice, but that would make me extremely happy if the tournament is going well ! Obviously, I know many of you don't have the time to participate because of work or another, so this is an other thing!
An other thing you have to know, the tournament will be cast by Jimmy | Minitoad and Zaäk on my twitch channel, so you have to stream your game on discord (really easy, even if you have a very bad connection). it also serves as proof if your game crashed or anything, and to validate your times.

Today is a great day! Wondering why? It's just because I can officialy announce the first Ignition tournament!!
The tournament will begin on the 3rd of April, at 3:00 PM UTC (If you win each trials, the tournament will take approximately 3 hours) The subscriptions will end on the 26th of March, one week before the tournament.
Here's how we're going to proceed, depending on the number of players:
If we are 5 or more: the first round consists of playing for one hour every track as many times as you want (during the allocated time) and get the best possible time on each. Those of you who are going to have the best times in total are going on the second round and the others are eliminated.
Less than 4 players/2nd round: 1 map is banned randomly. You are going to race the 6 remaining maps twice. The 2 of you who are going to have the best times in total are going to the final. If we have time, we may have another round to separate the last two players for a potential third place.
Final phase: It's a BO 5 (best of five), the first player who gains 3 points is the winner. Let me explain: First, each player bans one track. The 5 maps remaing are played. For example, Yodel Peaks and Tokyo Bullet are ban, you have to play Moosejaw, Gold Rush, Snake Island, Lost Ruins and Cape Thor. In turns, each player are going to pick one map. If, for example, Player A picks Lost Ruins, both players are going to play this map at the same time. The first player to finish will take the point. Then it's Player B's turn to pick a map and so on. To be repeated with different bans (or not) three times, and the first to 3 points wins! The cashprize is: first place : 50€ (converted in your country's money) second place : 25€ (converted if necessary) third place : 10€ (not sure yet, depends if there is a third place or not; converted if necessary) If you set a world record on a track during the tournament, you automaticaly win 5€ !

So okay, it's possible to beat them but we need to be super regular on the 3 laps ! Big challenge here ! For Tokyo Bullet I think if you have the 6 cuts in one run, you can hit 1:45 but pray for a good RNG haha (sorry my explication is not as detailed as yours lol)
And yes, we need the videos of these times :( Maybe it will be ours ! (not me im to noob and i didn't have the motivation to beat that D:)
wth how they can do 1:42 on cap thor ? I want to see a video, maybe there is a cut we didn't discover yet ! The 1:34 on moosejaw is pretty insane too !
I didn't think it was possible, for me the only cut was the U-turn, when I see the description of Gnobel I didn't understand what does he mean about the lake :/
