Due to an alarming growth in people using mods (or even CheatEngine) to cheat good rng for Food, Spawns, etc.:
**PC Runs are currently not listed on this leaderboard page.**✱

are you sure your filter settings are set up properly for that leaderboard? (check the variables if there's one or more set to "default" and uncheck those)

I see, you're a man of culture as well.
If you guys haven't noticed by now, the site's been rolled back by 3 days.
@flamingo1204
first of all, good job on the necro >_>
second, your account is only 4 days old, for obvious reasons deleting runs is disabled for new accounts. You'll get access to this feature soon enough.
How did you get started here? What/who lured you in? As with many people here, I saw a GDQ video, then checked out more, ended up here. no special "I had a calling!" story, sadly.
What's the most important thing in speedrunning? Whats the ultimate goal? Going fast, or in some cases, moderately faster than regular.
Do you play or just watch? Both.
Why do you like it so much? When you play a game you love, there's only so much you can do in "regular" play until you've either done everything, or just plainly get bored.
With speedrunning, you have a clear goal, and that goal can actually get further away from you as more stuff about the game gets discovered. First, you start by trashing the dumb "70 hours of gameplay" marketing stuff, then you go lower, and lower, and lower - it's a thrill in it's own to see the time get lower
How has speedrunning and/or this community impacted your life? Not much, it's rather been the opposite, where I wanted to practice or do a run, but real life went and smashed that. But if I had to think of something, I guess I've become more aware of how long it takes to do certain things? like, moving to point a -> b and how even slight optimizations in pathing / when to start makes a difference in total time.
^ only categories will allow for player-amount differences, what you can do however is just make a player subcategory and make the category itself have the maximum of that subcategory. (e.g. 1 - 10 players, you'd just put the category at 10, if someone runs one of the lower ones they just leave the other fields empty)
contact one of the full mods on discord via dm, best case, it was a mistake / minor issue and you just need to resubmit.
could've lead to leaking personal data shared through DMs
Ya mean, like that other incident recently?
If you mean a button to report a user, forum post or run, there is none - for the simple fact that it'd get abused & memed on like on every other platform.
If there's an actual issue, contact one of the site staff (Content / Full Mods)
uncheck the "default" from the Medal Awarded variable, then all the runs will appear. (you can confirm it's the Medal Awarded variable's fault by going to Filter -> Medal Awarded and Pressing "Any")
as long as you can make out what's going on, a phone recording is perfectly fine. best make sure to put it on a stand or smth so it's stable.
TL;DR Go for it, no Capture Card required.
really depends how the frame fluctuation is handled, some games skip the frames, in which case you'd actually lose time to react.
Looking at the site statistics, it's still normal - we get more users every year, more games, more runs, etc.
(and right now is GDQ)
