50 Minutes off the nearly 2 hour run??? That's nuts. Yes I will check that one out instead, that's a crazy time save.

That would be a lot of help. I think watching the run will be good enough for the time being. This game is pretty long and it will take a lot of effort getting a run together. Gl with future attempts though, I'll try to get a time on here when I get a chance.

My friend and I just got a very nice EMU set up on his pc where it seems to not have as nearly as much lag as console for 2p. We're gonna start putting some runs together but I doubt it would beat these runs.

Once again WR has no video. Is it on ManMan's yt channel or something? I'd like the see how it went.

Is there a recommended emulator for netplay? I think fusion works but I'm not sure if it's the best to use.

You could have an 'original characters only' which does not update and a 'new characters only' run that does reset when new characters come out.

He mentioned deciding if c-stick will be used in the changelog, maybe he'll have a poll? I'd vote yes.

No problem, I was considering doing at least some levels runs with a friend and I'll get on discord if we get a few runs together.

Will there ever be a Misc. category for co-op runs? Just wondering why no one ever tries this or if there's a reason why they have not been added.

Will there ever be a hoverless version of fast any%? I would be interested in doing that.

I hear you, if you mean the new 50 elim there's a few new runs from the last few days so maybe it will become more popular after a while.

Please leave 50 eliminations the way it is. If it ends up on the extensions page I wouldn't be too distraught but I don't see how it could be more "official" than something like practice range or the tutorial. If it did end up of the extensions however it might be worth adding the two different types of 50 elim. (Changing settings and not.)

Also I'm not sure if this is the place for it but I have a suggestion for another category: Winning a FFA match. (Not time outs obviously but whoever can place 1st as quickly as possible.)

I'm also having problems with this. Tried everything I could think of when I originally picked up this game but this one thing is preventing me.

Not sure if they're still abiding by this but there may be something wrong with 1.7 unless I'm wrong. Unsure as to why it would be "unfair" though.

Oh true, I didn't consider that. I'm used to games like smash where you can't change character during a run.

It could be interesting to add character choice as a column. I doubt many people would pick something other than Yoshi (I play Peach) but it would at least give you a sense of representing the character on the leaderboard. (I'd opt for only letting a runner have 1 run per category because if you let people submit multiple runs for different characters it would clutter the board. It would probably just annoy the more serious runners who don't want to take the time to fill in that extra column but it could be made optional or if you don't pick one it assumes you played as Yoshi. This wouldn't really add anything other than fun but if it would add more work for the mods then it obviously they might not want that.

If you mean that it's the same run and are just trying to fix a sound issue with the video then you can go into your profile and edit your run which would change the video URL so you don't need to submit a new run.

This may be known already but I had something strange happened to me where I'm hit by a rockman at the same time as the beginning of the cutscene which caused my body to go through the door. I doubt it's useful but I thought it was interesting.
