This game is a LaserDisc game which was basically an entire game programmed into a DVD using menus and logic to have a gameplay experience.

As far as I could figure out, Singe is the only Emulator currently emulating these games correctly. You can get the game running with a combination of the following 2 URLS:

I was wondering if it would be able to add a 2P category to the game?

Typically the 2P mode is a VS mode, but on a few puzzle games me and my arcade partner have been playing them as "combined point" co-op speedrunning experiences. Interestingly this game in Arcade does not reset points when one player achieves victory, allowing any amount of combined point total for the categories.

Proposing a 2,000,000 and 5,000,000 combined point subcategories.

We have performed a sample run here:

Appreciate any community input, I really enjoyed this game and playing this way with my friend.

There were no moderators on the game, so I requested to take it over.

I have changed the categories up a little to be more organized. I also updated all older runs to the new categories.

Also I have removed some rules that I really disagreed with, namely:

• No emulators allowed
• For 1st Place you must have hand cam

If there is community desire I will separate Emulated and Non Emulated into different categories.

Howdy there bud,

This was one of the first games I ever got added and I was way more of a noob then than I am now not making things really clear and easy.

I have updated the rules for all categories, End Time will now be when Story 16 Clear appears making it easier to hit the end timer button.

I have updated the existing run times to follow new method.

Hopefully this is easier for everyone

I am getting the clone flag from the MAME project http://adb.arcadeitalia.net/dettaglio_mame.php?game_name=raphero&arcade_only=0&autosearch=1 I think its their standard to mark the Japanese versions as Clones and the World releases as the parent.

Are there any actual differences in the gameplay? My main concern is that there are clone versions of just about every game, and I dont want to see the limited arcade running community fractured into 2x games for each game when the only difference is textures / text and the "Region Version" checkbox system exists for Emulated games. Also if there are differences in Clones that means I need to rethink/examine all the clones to see if I have to re-run any of them for my stupid "Run all arcade games" quest, which would break my heart just a little.

Hopefully this doesnt come off as hostile or pushy at all, I dont want to tell anyone which communities to set up or how to run them or anything, I just dont want to see a ton of repeats in the system and figured Id talk to you about it since you are the other primary person working the arcade grind right now. Love the game energy and the new games you brought to the table :)

Was looking at this game and it seems to be a ROM Clone of Arcadia (https://www.speedrun.com/arcadia?h=1P&x=n2ymr672) licensed to Media Trading

Is there anything about this game to differentiate it from Arcadia?

Any chance you want to merge the games? Not sure if there is a difference between the two. I am happy to add you as a Super Moderator and whatever categories youd like.

Also, would it be possible to have non-1CC categories? Rules seem to imply you have to 1CC clear and not many people are going to play that.

I would also like to request an Arcade Emulator category. Got the MAME rom working with Flycast, run forthcoming soon.
