I agree we need a 2 player - 6 player category. I have a run ready to upload if a three player category is added.

I would like to run the Co-op category but I haven't got the moderator to respond for months.

Depending on what move you are doing the enemies will respond in a specific way. I urge you to watch some of the other speed runs to see exactly when and how they do a down stab move. The game is very intricate on how these are performed. Even a slight variation can cause you to miss.

Should probably set it up so you get notifications for future items.

Congrats on becoming a moderator. Now we can finally get moving on some things long overdue. I would guess your first order of business is to ban that trash run. Second I hope is adding a 2 Player category. I will upload the run shortly after that.

Hello. I would like to be added as a moderator for the "Golden Axe" series. I have attempted to contact the admins a few times and it has been at least two months with no responses. I have some runs I want to upload to that series. Thank you.

I think we are officially done trying to improve the CoOp run. Is the run I have perfect? No it is not. It is however the product of eight months of attempts and nearly 2500 rerecords. The randomness in two player is just insane. I feel so sorry for anyone who attempts to beat our run. Be prepared for a lot of pain and suffering. We are just so burned out on this game and I just can't take it anymore. We are gonna move on to a different game for now and let other people try and match it before coming back to it.

This is my last attempt to get an Admin to respond to me about creating a CoOp category. If I have not heard back by tomorrow this time I will set in motion with SR.COM to have myself added as an admin.

It is difficult to tell. It seems like most people just accept the fact that emulators and original consoles are sorted together and compared. Some games have them separated but they are very few. In my opinion it is emulation for sure but I know people who are uneducated about the subject post them as original hardware runs. I personally do not think emulator runs belong anywhere but I seem to be in the minority on that topic.

@Dugongue You are the moderator for Rampage for the NES. Can you please check the forum for that game. I do not know of any other way to contact you so I just forum stalked you.

I guess overall it doesn't matter that much. I just do not understand peoples reason of "making the board too complex". I think there are enough runners for this game where multiple categories are viable. As soon as Jesse responds and makes the category I will work on uploading a run. We still have about twenty seconds to trim before I would feel good about posting it though.

Yeah I have seen many games not separated. I realize it is done for simplicity it just does not seem very accurate to me comparing the games against other systems for timing purposes. It is really not that big of a deal and I am not trying to make waves I am just glad you realize how vastly different playing on the PC/Emulator is compared to a genesis. If a coop category is added I will be uploading a run very soon.

First thanks Jesse for being an awesome moderator.I have been working on several runs for this game including a coop run.

1. I would like a coop category. I am not sure if you want to add a category for each combination or not.

2. I would personally like the category for the PC version to be separate. Being able to use a proper controller instead of a genesis one is a huge advantage.

These are just my thoughts and I am open to discussing them.

Can the moderator please add a Coop category for this game?
