This is insane. Michael Chan will go down in history for breaking the last minute barrier - but this run is ABSOLUTELY CRAZY. It's mindblowing that it's still possible to squeeze out more time in level seven if you make the cycle...
@demonicsushi360 lol I forgot was FG was. Guys, what is it?
Ok, thank you for clearing up any confusion I had.
Ok thanks, I understand. @demonicsushi360 could you please give your opinion on this situation?
@TheGreatYoKai what do you mean? For each level even if you get fewer apples than the mods limit, the run doesn't count? That seems REALLY counterintuitive to the whole concept of minimum apples... The reason I am pushing so hard for true minimum apple runs is because it's such a great concept and challenge for speedrunners who want a new challenge. (Also yes, I know that I haven't posted any levels to the leaderboards, but I am grinding for a actually good run for each level. )
Hmmmm. I seem to have forgotten the mods limit. Can you tell me what it is for each level? The problem is whether or not a trick is "Too Hard" to perform to make an actual minimum apples run. For instance, the WR for level 3 held by speeeeeeedy collects 5 apples, but I have gotten 3 very easily. The only semi-difficult "trick" that is used, is the tight jump in between the spike and apple at the bottom of the tunnel. The apples in this image can also EASILY be skipped. Can @demonicsushi360 please help with this dilemma? I personally think that we need to change the number of minimum applls for some levels. I do understand, however, if he decides not to change this number.
I was looking through the minimum apples runs, and even though some runs still get unnecessary apples, the run is still counted. For instance, In level 1, Swskrei performs the level perfectly, but in the last part, he gets 2 apples instead of one. It's been proven by Michael Chan that 1 is possible. The same goes for the other levels. Why are these runs counted? I'm not trying to hate on anyone and all that - I just don't understand why these runs are counted.
I understand that level 9 has a TAS for minimum apples, but I still think that we should determine the HUMAN minimum number of apples. I think that once we determine that human number for each individual level we should start to accept speedruns only if they have their respective Apple number. Please help me understand what's going on. Again, I'm not trying to blame anyone or anything, I just think this is a problem that needs to be fixed.
Sounds like a sweet idea! I've always wanted pacifist% to be a category...
Yes, thank you for asking this. I would like to know as well. If he is "unbanned, " we will see many new additions to the leaderboards.
