It would be nice to have different stages of being banned that a mod could apply to a person. If someone cheated but came clean you could apply a tag to said person that warns the mod that has to verify that person's runs in the future (if the community doesn't feel that person should be outright banned).
There is a much easier way to break the top leaderboards without erasing anything. Game mods can set their url to one letter characters and then when their game is clicked on in the "all games" area, it takes the person to that profile. Not sure how that would accomplish much though.
If them having promoted games is somehow good for the site because of financials or whatever, they should just auction off the top three-five slots in the games page for a weeks time or whatever and use the funds to better the site but something tells me they aren't gonna do that. There are a lot of people here whose livelihoods are actually tied to this site (big name speedstreamers on the popular games) so I think concern over something like this is certainly warranted. The fact that promoted games isn't explained/nonobtainable for the average person wreaks of nepotism. If they had a rotating community spotlight or something that could be cool.
What's up with user "0" (zero)? They signed up 8 months ago? I thought the 1 or 2 character thing was fixed a long time before than.

@Merl_ Sort by oldest games and look at Goldeneye's release date. Look at your settings and see that Upmine Struggle has a site theme option even though it only has two players. Go into a game you moderate and set the url to "0". Or setting it to things like one letter characters with a use with that character will break the search function. Not sure why none of that makes sense? Especially when, in an iceberg, you don't explain things in the title of said thing?
@TRLittleToaster I'd like to agree but I can't. Go look at the games page and sort by newest. Look at the kind of games that are in there. NBA2k where the main category is playing a game, an indie shooter game, a bunch of early access games... When you sort by newest games, many aren't out yet. Can I request a game request a game that has been announced? I mod Crossy Road and want to request Crossy Road+. It seems to have a story mode.
