Hello there,
3D Dot really deserves more love, so I am more than happy to welcome you to run the game.
As you can see, there are not many of us. In fact, I happen to be the only one running the whole game. My last run is from 2014, so I really don't remember much of the game myself.
As a matter of fact, I had my old route notes on me, so I uploaded them to pastebin. You can check them out here: https://pastebin.com/Ew4vBCHb I cannot guarantee that they are perfect, but will give a general idea of the route. Mostly they should be OK though.
If you have any questions, I will try my best to answer them.
I have now added the ScottTheWoz% category, rules can be found in the category. If something needs to be changed, just tell me and I'll look into it.
Just putting this out here for everyone interested.
Since the way Remastered handles the warping glitch is different, there are some ways it maybe could be used. I found this while messing with stuff. Do idea how it would be useful, at least not yet.
You can trigger a checkpoint when you go OoB, and then you can load the checkpoint you just triggered, and Lily will warp with you.
I'm not quite sure where to post, but I'm withdrawing all my submissions to ESA 2016. I just recently got a new job, so I am unable to attend the event at all.
Would it be possible to add co-op categories? We would have a NG+ All Chapters Co-op run to submit.
Command & Conquer Generals: GLA Campaign estimate can be safely cut down to 0:55, hence the new strats. Estimate is still safe, since the RNG can be a lil' dick here and there.
Current PB/WR video here:
Also a question, if the estimate gets cut down more, do I just edit this post with the new estimate?
Just not at mornings, otherwise I should be pretty much always available.
Game Name: Command and Conquer: Generals System: PC Category: GLA Campaign Normal Gameplay Estimate: 1:15:00 Sample run video: Description: A run that is a tad bit on the RNG-side. Estimate is safe, much because of that. The main focus of the run is on the Tunnel Network glitch, which requires fairly fast inputs and discretion. I'm fairly rusty atm, but will start training again.
Game Name: Stalin Subway: Red Veil System: PC Category: Any% easy Gameplay Estimate: 0:15:00 Sample run video: Description: A very glitch-heavy and fast-paced speedrun. You venture through 8 levels, and do a wide array of skips and glitches on almost all of them. Recently found out a skip, that let's you speed up the autoscroller-stage by taking in-game screenshots.

Just_Samu, the more you bring your stuff regarding the run, the better. We can't 100% guarantee that we are able you provide with the console/controller you need. So if you are able to bring your own console and stuff, magnificent.
For the second question, you are free to choose your language. Of course we (or at least I) would like you to commentate in Finnish, but you have the ultimate last choice. Just be sure to stick to only one language during the run, though.
My game (Ravensword: Shadowlands) can be cut. I found out today that I'm gonna be working all summer and hence cannot attend ESA.
