Bonus chest is banned because (especially in all woods) would give an unfair advantage against those who don't start with one, some times you can get really good stuff in them

Throw items on the ground Save and quit to title One world Pick items up then fairly quickly press alt+f4. Minecraft will quit Open back up your world and you have double the items you dropped Repeat

The alt f4-duplication glitch. Is a good place to start. I would honestly just go and watch one of the previous Speedruns for the category
The nature of the duplication glitch that all the runners know fondly is that the game needs to be quit forcefully before it realises where items are, there aren't many server side glitches that would make a co-op run any faster then glitchless as far as I am aware
This sounds like a good category for the memeboard when we finally get it up
just checked the bug tracker https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-75328 said this in 2014, no one has ever bothered fixing it or updating it to 1.12, they seem to have forgotten about it . GG man! this could make speedrunning a lot of maps a hella lot easier.
That would be a very interesting glitch for the map runners. I will test myself. Which version of Minecraft is this?

It happens on my laptop but not my desktop, have you tried waiting a second or two before you force quit? I think it's processor speed / type but don't quote me on that, although after waiting for a bit longer I think I managed to get it to work. if that doesn't work I use an alternative in my old runs you throw items on the floor and spam escape (the video makes more sense) until the item enters you inventory AFTER the menu pops up, then you save and quit and rejoin and it dupes, in some cases you can use a method l4m2 found were you open a window whilst the game is loading back in, then quit back out again, this should Thereotically dupe your stack infinitely (I have tried) which if your good at the the first part may actually end up slightly quicker real time wise
Ah yes, I have had this problem many times on my laptop, generally I lost the items as well, I think you can fix it by waiting longer before alt f4 ing but do make sure you do all the other stuff like throw it on the ground, leave the world, join the world and then pick it up and alt f4
That shouldn't happen, although unless your doing random seed gltichless, run client
I would assume that since its a set seed run it doesn't matter
Amidst and spamming random seed. An amidst2^48 for finding seeds with exact same strongholds, I would watch a tutorial on that one
