Problem with that is you could own the pc version but not the hd version.

Only thing that comes to mind is the first fmv loading 2~ seconds faster, it feels to me like the loads are faster throughout though and ofc some of the loading zones don't have some of the "stopping" parts that console has.

It just has better textures and more consistent framerate from what I can tell, the PC version is also ransomware and is easier to setup capture for. If you want to learn the game on PS2 then that is fine imo.

Most of what I learnt about the game is from SDA: https://forum.speeddemosarchive.com/post/zero_the_kamikaze_squirrel.html . As for the flying mechanic while getting max speed is cool it can also be a hindrance if you don't know exactly what's coming up on the right side of the screen

You should be able to go into your control panel by right clicking on desktop and change the v-sync/buffer/fps settings, hopefully this should fix it.

Hmm, are you running Nvidia or AMD?

Set your monitor refresh rate to 60hz, that should fix the problem.
