I try to speedrun 4-2 but when the moment where you put the torche on the pedestal comes i need to get close cuz the whilplash cant reach it.I watched other guys doing it and they don't what am i doing wrong?

Its not infinite but you can hold the button to send it out further than if you just tap it.
