I have a question regarding mods. Would my runs get rejected if I used mods to graphically enhance the game?

I just want to do something similar to Glidos like upgrading textures, outfits etc.

I fail to understand why would you want to do that for speedrunning.

I just want the game to look more appealing while I run it that's all.

In what ways could it potentially change the gameplay? Has anyone tested it to see if this is a thing that happens? These posts are 10 months old so maybe you've learned something in that time.

Different hitboxes, different visual cues, potentially new bugs or crashes, and so on.
