Will runs be accepted if they're from the Switch, the game is only in Japanese on the switch too, so I don't know if there are any text speed differences that would matter.

Don’t think it’ll affect anything. Maybe the texts will be affected but shouldn’t be to a certain degree. Current Japanese players play on the Japanese version so it’s fair game
