Hi! I am using FCEUX to smb1, but in-game music has speed-up. What will I do?
(Sorry for grammar, I'm Russian)
Is the sound and the game sped up? If so, you might have sped up the game itself.
Oh yeah I forgot about that too! The default region for fceux is ntsc and if you use a European rom, it'll have the sped up music that you're describing. There should be a setting to change it under a tab called "region".
Thank you for all these comments, It partially helped me)
Could you send a video of your gameplay? It might help me discern what exactly is happening.
I doesnt know so much, but basicaly because of the room you are using, with the versión, as well as @LeonToast mentioned You cant change that in the room, at least not very easily In all case, you can just install another room with no that exactly conditions :)
That is indeed the PAL version, it is recommended to look for an NTSC rom
@KilleDragon posting roms is illegal. That is a good way to get banned.
That is the PAL version of the game just like @eddiecatgaming said. If you want to use the ROM that most speedrunners use look for a ROM that says either "(USA)" or "NTSC". You can also use the japanese version which would be "(Japan)" or "NTSC-J".
Also @KilleDragon I think it was forbidden to post ROMs on the forums. I would recommend deleting that post to not get terminated on speedrun.com.
@KilleDragon you're forbidden to post ROM links on this website. Those are the rules for all of speedrun.com and you could potentially be banned if you continue to do so. Fair warning.
Wow .__. .. I wasnt remember that… Okey, realy sorry because of that, I wasnt spect at the momento to be something bad Thanks, I will avoid it for the next time Betwen I dont understand why it is literaly ilegan and banneable, but okey Literaly I can get banned of all speedrun.com?
Any% (NTSC) runs below 4:57.000 must now fulfill additional requirements in order to be verified.
- The run's full session must be included in the submission description.
- For emulator runs below 4:57.000, some form of input display must be visible for the duration of the run. A hand-cam or input
